Stareye lay sprawled out in the tree branch, his eyelids drooping. He thought he could scent a cat coming his way. "Oh the wonderful Shadowstar his coming to rescue me!" He meowed sarcastically. It didn't make sense, he was just defending his leader, now he was feeling angst him. He stood up now, as the scent was getting closer. He couldn't seem to place a paw on it.

She followed the scemt of Stareye and found it stopped at a tree.. Looking up she spotted the lump of fur, "S-Stareye..I...Im s-sorry... I...up-pset you...I...Im not.. used to being...p-picked for...anyt-thing.." Vixenfrost shuffled her paw on the dirt and watched it.. Not looking up at the angry tom. She didnt want to see the face... The face all of the Holly Clan cats and her own brother gave her.. The face of dissapointment.. Like she was worthless and not good enough for anything, "I...I told.. S-Shadowstar... to make... Y-you the mentor...b-but he refused...I-Im..really sorry.. I.. Just k-keep upsetting you.." then Vixenfrost stopped moving and sat still, "Ill leave..now.."

Stareye paused before speaking, his angry face turning more relaxed. "I accept your apology." He said to her, although she did not need to apologize at all. "Take that into consideration, I never accept anyones apology." He said, still curled up in the tree, his yellow daggers staring down at her. "And I'm sorry too, for upsetting you so much, I've just always been a jerk" he remember the phrase said about him many times. "But don't leave yet." He said to her as he began his way down the tree. He stood square in front of her. "I think we just need to talk, we don't understand each other very well. We have to stop upsetting each other, and to do that I think I have to get to know you." He said. "We could take a trip around the woods, and just explain ourselves." He said. He was in no hurry to get back to camp and the scolding of Shadowstar and the other cats.

She nodded and looked up at Stareye with her soft green eyes still full of worry, but the fox colored she cat just mewed, "O-Okay.." and nodded at his apology, accepting it, but still wondering why hed apologize to her, she was a newcomer and she already had her new name and an apprentince before him, not that she even wanted an apprentince.. Vixenfrost meowed softly her stammering slowing down a bit, "S-so what d-do you want to know?"

Skyfire looked at him, fondness in her eyes. "Always." she murmured.

Foxclaw found Vixenfrost and climbed in with her. "My little fox in a little fox hole." he purred trying to joke.

Shadowstar arrived at the fox hole a few heartbeats later. "Come on you great love birds." he grouched.

Frozencloud

Frozencloud huffed out frustration as she watched Stareye go. "The punk… he deserves it." She said aloud. She paused before speaking. "Don't go after him… It's better if he stays out of camp." She said.

Hawktalon

"Little rat." Hawktalon mumbled to himself as Stareye left. "I think I can smell Shadowstar and the others approaching." He said. "I wonder what Shadowstar is going to say to the clan."

Stareye

"Well" Stareye said as he began walking down a familiar trail. "Why did you come to Shadeclan in the first place? Besides that you love Foxclaw. I can see something else troubling you in your eyes." The tom said, his voice smooth like a river.

I padded up to Sunpelt. "When can we start training?" I mewed

Nightpaw
I padded up to Vixenfrost. "I'm so happy you're my mentor Vixenfrost" I mewed happily

Pantherpaw
I padded up to Ivystorm. "When are we gonna start training?"
