Larkpaw quickly ate up the herbs ignoring the bitter taste it left in her mouth. Her tail flicked back and forth nervously as she wondered if Starclan would share anything with her, and if they did what it would be. Larkpaw looked between the cats that were traveling with her wondering what starclan would share with them.

Lionpaw nodded eagerly. He couldn't wait to show off what he'd learnt. "Maybe I can see if Firewinds can train you as well?" he twitched his ears happily at the thought, padding back through the camp entrance.

Shortpaw nodded and followed him into camp. She noticed her mentor, the medicine cat and medicine cat apprentice, and Jaypaw, prepared to leave. She bounded to Jackalstar.
"Where are you going? Am I coming too?"

Jackalstar glanced up at the sound of her bustling apprentice. She looked down at the young cat, brushing her with hr long furry tail as she walked, not wanting to halt their progress. Time would be of the essence.

"Afraid not Shortpaw." She meowed. "Don't worry, you and I will be going out tomorrow alright? Keep an eye on Rabbittail for me will you?" She gave a playful wink. She doubted that would be enough to give the young cat any rest, but it would have to do. At Jaypaw's question, th leader chose to remain silent. She had her reasons for wanting to bring her to Skycave, but they were just that, hers.

"Oh, okay. Bye I guess!" She called. She padded off to the apprentice's den and curled up in her nest. She wasn't ready for sleep yet; She just wanted to get out of the rain.

Lionpaw stared in curiosity at Jackalstar and the rest leaving. Where were they off to? Either way, they were bound to be going somewhere interesting. The leader, the medicine cats AND one blind apprentice travelling? He flicked his tail in anticipation. Very unusual. He padded quietly after them, careful to maintain a distance. He could certainly learn something interesting tonight.

Larkpaw padded silently along with Rainstep, Jackalpaw, and Jaypaw her silvery eyes gazing up at the beautiful star filled sky wondering if her parents were up there as well, her and Ghostpaw had been taken into the clan when they were about two moons, their parents had been rouges yet there was no sign of them anywhere near them. The clan had been kind enough to take them in. Larkpaw had taken an interest in starclan and the ways of the medicine cat almost immediately, Ghostpaw craved to become the best warrior, his eyes mainly set on battle.

(just some background building on my characters while I wait for them to get to skycave XD)

ooc;; I haven't developed a full background on Jaypaw beyond her mother dying at her birth and she being the only one to survive of that litter and such. She's usually the car I sign up for Medicine Cat Apprentice but that option is obviously filled.
