"Well I had to race the fastest cat in the clan!" She announced. "Which means I'm faster than you! And I'll prove it. Race ya to the training hollow!" With that said, she batted his shoulder with her paw and darted away.

Rabbittail began to groom his chest.
"The clan looks lively today." He mused.
"I just hope this storm will end soon. I hate being wet."

"I hope so as well." She felt a raindrop fall onto her nose. Stormbird rolled her eyes, stood up, and shook all of the rain off of her pelt. "At least the apprentices are being trained today. We need as many many paws as we can get in this little clan."

"Hey!" Lionpaw yowled after Shortpaw as she dashed off. He couldn't lose to her! Sprinting after her as quickly as he could, despite being still a bit out of breath, his chest began to burn. He dashed onwards, following her scent trail. He could see her ahead. Pushing himself onwards, almost wheezing with effort he finally caught up, keeping up with her.

Shortpaw looked to him, laughing. She didn't watch her path and tripped over a branch, falling over in and into a puddle. She sat up, spat out the dirty water, and shook out her fur.
"Why can't I run right?!" She screeched, laughing still.

Lionpaw smirked as she tripped and continued ahead. "Because only the best warriors can!" he yowled hoarsly back at her, breathing raggedly.

Shortpaw grunted.
"I'LL SHOW YOU!" She yowled after him. The now-brown apprentice jumped out of the puddle and darted after Lionpaw. Eventually, the training hollow came into view. It was lined with dead leaves and sand, giving it a soft ground. She leaped into it, looking around to see if she or Lionpaw had arrived first.

Ghostpaw rolled his eyes and groaned in annoyance letting his golden eyes fall upon the she-cat "I was exaggerating you mouse-brain" he hissed his eyes lighting with a bit of fire as he continued "And stop acting like you know better than anycat and maybe then other cats would take you seriously." Spinning around he headed for the apprentice den in hopes for some quiet.

"Oh toche. Maybe you should lighten up and love a little. Give your clanmates something to want to work with," she counters with a sneer.

"Sorry Stormbird. I'll talk to you later; I have to deal with this."
He padded to Jaypaw and Ghostpaw.
"Hey Jaypaw, come here. I think it's about time to added you and see what you need to work on." He called nicely.
