Snowpaw padded slowly through the forest for the first time. She never thought her first experience with the forest would be spent alone.

Cloudstar spoke "Ashpaw, I will be your mentor. Snowpaw, Brownflower will be yours." She said.

"Finally, thank you," he grumbled to himself, swiping little sheets of ice onto the wounds, waiting for it to become melty so he would then lap it off without germing up the wounds again. Carefully, he would press onto the more gushing areas of the wounds until the bleeding slowed and later threw some dock leaves and marigold on him. Now that most of the bleeding and swelling went down, now was a safer time to wrap it up with some cobwebs and force a few poppy-seeds in his mouth before soreness kicked in along with the stinging.

The wind became stronger and colder. "We should probably go the other way" he said under his breath and started to jog the opposite direction where it wasn't so cold, still waiting for Cherryheart.
