Frozenkit

Her fur spikes up. "Do you mean me?" She flicks her tail to a stone beside her. "Or that?" She asks playfully. "are you serious?" She asks.

(I think it's probably getting close to sundown by now, so I'll have Ashkit wander off to meet her.)

Ashkit glanced up at the sky, noticing the sun was almost set. He backed into the growing shadows of the camp, hopefully not being noticed by Ripplekit. When he was certain he couldn't be seen, he bounded behind the nursery. There, he took a seat and began to groom his fur as he waited for Frozenkit. She'd be here soon.

Mudpelt began to groom his chest. He had let his fur get a little messy recently, so he decided it was time to groom himself. "Don't worry, Purpleflower. I'm sure everything will work out for you," he mewed between licks.

Froznkit

She flicks her tail at Rowenpaw. "I have to talk with Ashkit I will tell you how to goes when I get back." She raises herself to her paws and walks over to Ashkit. She slides behind the nursery. "I'm sorry for my outburst earlier." She starts looking at him with wide blue eyes. "What do you want to talk about."

Ashkit quickly glanced around to make sure they were alone. "Look, I do really like you too. But I'm going to be Frostwind's apprentice soon. A medicine cat can't have a mate. Or kits. So we can only be friends, okay." He mewed, barely above a whisper so only Frozenkit would be able to hear him.

Purpleflower shakes her head. "It wont." she said. "It isnt that simple."

Frozenkit

She looks down at the ground and shuffles her paws. "I know. And I hope you like being a medicine cat." She looks back up at him. "I guess being your friend is enough though. But you get to see star clan which will be so cool." She takes a breath. "And if ever you need me I will be here for you."

Silverbrook matched her breathing to Bear's. It was slow and steady. She prayed to Starclan he would live. What will Pine do? He will be crushed! She lied her tail down on his back. She loved kits and treated them all like her own, and to see a kit with wounds and scars like Bear had, made her feel sick.

"Ok, but don't annoy the warriors, and claws better be in!" She turned to Whiskerheart "Of course!" She bounded out of the den and towards the camp entrance. She waited for him to catch up and batted his ears playfully.

RowanPaw nodded in farewell and stood, padding to the entrance of camp. He flicked his tail to the warrior on guard before slipping past him, thinking as he walked through the territory. The sun had slipped half-way under the horizon, making the sky a pinkish orange. A beautiful ominous hue. The apprentice found himself deep in the middle of StreamClan territory. He bit his cheek turning " I should probably head back to camp." He thought out loud. RowanPaw turned walking back in the direction he came before his ears flicked back, hearing a horribly familiar sound. He unsheathed his claws immediately, flipping around, his lips drawn back in a snarl. There in front of him, stood a fox, a scrawny one at that. "You must be from that pack!" He growled " I helped defeat that pack, I'll do the same with you!" He threatened. RowanPaw raced forward then suddenly dodged to the side, clawing the fox's flank. The pungent creature spun, more quickly then RowanPaw was ready for and snapped it's jaws close on the apprentices back leg. RowanPaw hissed in pain and fell, his eyes darkening. Reaching from the ground he raked his claws along the fox's stomach. The fox growled and bit into his leg harder, before retreating into the brush. RowanPaw laid there for a moment before the pain really hit him. The young tom hissed as he stood, keeping his injured leg off the ground. He limped forward before tripping and falling, hurting his wound even more so. RowanPaw winced as the pain grew, his leg throbbing. But with determination, he stood back up, and limped forward until camp came in view. RowanPaw froze and sat, licking his leg and wincing. He panted before closing his mouth and standing, limping back into camp. When he slipped through the entrance, the few warriors in camp glanced at him but he held his gaze. Only unfortunately to fall with a cry.

Mudpelt shook his head, "If you and Snowpelt are meant to be together, StarClan will make it happen." He said with a smile. "Or maybe you'll end up with another tom. You never know."

Ashkit smiled, gently nudging Frozenkit. "Thanks Frozenkit, you're a great friend. I hope you find a nice tom someday," he said with a grin as he rose to his paws.
