Tinythistle perambulated alongside Sunwhisper, the sweet aroma of the nearby meadow causing her to close her eyes and drink in the wonderful scent. The first buildings of the twolegplace were only a few fox-lengths up ahead and the grass was quickly replaced by a cement sidewalk. Twolegs bustled from building to building and the wind whipped at the she-cat's fur. A siren blared a few blocks ahead and the clacking of high heels caused Tinythistle's ears to flatten against her head. Noticing that Sunwhisper had began to speak, she perked them and met eyes with the other she-cat. Her heart began to race as Sunwhisper admitted her feelings for her and her face was overtaken by a blush. "I . . . I love you too," she timidly admitted. "I brought you to the Twolegplace because I knew that I had to impress you. I've always seen you as adventurous and beautiful, so I tried to capture your heart by running away with you. We'll have to return soon, but let's just forget about StreamClan for a while."

Sunwhisper gives a small, relieved sigh. She was overjoyed that Tinythistle felt the same way, and gazed up at her affectionately. "T..Tinythistle, would you like to be my mate?" She asks her hesitively, but somewhat confident after the she-cat's assurances that she liked her back. She knew they would never be able to have kits, and that some of their clanmates would disapprove, but she couldn't help the way she felt. She knew deep inside her that Tinythistle was the cat she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, even if she wasn't a tom.

Duskwing

The she-cat was laying in the camp. Every day she became more and more aware of how two cats had left the camp. She had felt a little annoyed about this when the fox attack happened and that Tinythistle and Sunwhisper weren't there to help them. But that was replaced quickly with concern for them. What if something had happened?

"All the warriors think she deserved him just because she only has one ear! And it just annoys me she isn't any better than any other cat I know! But she acts like she is, and she tried to save me from Ravenclaw when I have been dealing with him all my life I don't need anyone sticking up for me. But I guess both our lives are ruined now that Ashkit is a medicine cat."

RowanPaw nudged her shoulder " Don't say that! Your life isn't ruined." He insisted " You should try to talk to her." He suggested " Both of you have a lot in common. The same air, the same Earth, the same sky. Maybe if you started looking at what's the same instead of always looking at what's different...well, who knows."

She shakes her head. "Rainkit probably thinks she's better than me." She mutters leaning on his shoulder. "I feel like she just wants to make me unhappy. It's not my fault that she has only one ear. It isn't my fault that all the warriors like her pretty calico pelt!" She felt rage bubbling up inside her. "All I have is a grey tabby pelt. No toms like that." She whispers. "By the time she's an apprentice Rainkit will have all the toms." Then she glances over at Frostwind. "At least she will have a good apprentice now." She whispers walking away but then why urns back. "Can I stay with you right now I feel. . . Just so alone." She walks back over and sits beside him. "What do you want to talk about now?

BrookPaw smiled " Sounds good!" She licked up the small mice by the tails and trotted back to camp, side by side with LionPaw.
