Silverbrook nodded. She looked up at Pine. "I will stay with him."

Blossomtail padded up to Cloudpaw. "I know I was going to take you training today, but the fox attack has shaken everyone up. So I'm going to wait till tomorrow. I will wake you as soon as the dawn patrol gets back." She looked to Whiskerheart. "Would you like to wait as well?"

Frozenkit

She sighs pawing at the earth. "How could something like this happen?" She glances over in Ashkit's direction before looking away again. They could still be friends. There wasn't a rule against that. She stops crying. He had made his choice. She would be a warrior he would be a medicine cat. But she stays there. While everyone else would be getting a mate she would always be all alone. Maybe that wasn't true but there were no toms that made her feel how he made her feel. Bear was kind and understanding but she didn't like him in the way she liked Ashkit.

Tinythistle felt her face grow hot as the she-cat pressed her muzzle to her cheek. "Oh, stop it," she blushed, her neck fur feeling as if it were on fire. The honking of a large monster drew her back to reality as she pleated down her fur and offered a faint smile. "We should, you know, keep going."

RowanPaw grabbed a rabbit, turning and sitting beside FrozenKit. He dropped it in front of her, noticing the tear streaks on her cheeks. " Hey." He mewed " Everything okay?"

"No everything is not ok." She sighs. "Ashkit is going to be a medicine cat!" She looks down at the rabbit. "I will never make that mistake again. I will never love another tom." She kicks a stone away. "I don't know what to do." The cries almost come back but she holds them down. "I should never have said I loved him it only makes things worse."

RowanPaw's gaze softened. He gently flicked one last small tear from her cheek " So AshKit's going to be a medicine cat. There's plenty of other toms..." He reassured " Don't say that. I'm sure there's a perfect tom for you out there." He said, lifting her chin up with his paw " Just you wait."

She looks up at him. "There will never be a tom for me. Who would ever like a cat like me?" She says quietly. She didn't like herself at the moment. "He was the only one I ever had feelings for."

Bandit nodded, "Okay. What can we tell them when they asked what happened to you?" He asked, trotting behind the she cat. "We can't say we just decided to stroll across the thunderpath to pay the Clan a visit. We'd get in trouble with my father." he mewed, shivering at the thought of any punishment Leo could give them.

She looks over at Ashkit. "I have to talk to him." She meows getting up. She walks over to Ashkit. "Ashkit I understand what you are doing. I understand that you don;t care for me in that way but I just wanted to say." She has to force the words. out. "I hope you are happy as a medicine cat."
