"Do you see her to?" She says randomly, looking to her side. Starkit wasen`t there today. "She`s my freind." She says, looking to the blank space beside her.

"Who?" asked Firekit, looking around wildly. "Oh, look, there's Maplefall."

"Maplefall? I only see kits. They`re fun to play with." She says, sitting up and looking to her side, whiskers twitching. "I`m going to go and play." She says.

"Don't you see Maplefall? She's kind of orange like me, only with some red-brown too." Firekit meowed, even more confused. "Maplefall likes to play with me."

Icenight padded around and said hi to Mintgaze, and Savannahpelt and said hi to Illuminatedheart and Diamondheart. He sat down and talked to them.

Tinyflower licked Pantherheart's cheek. "Maybe you should just forget about the hate, the mistrust, and start thinking about love."

He sighed and turned his head away. "How can I? I grew up thinking I would never get back to holly clan. You don't know what it was like in fire clan..." He looked at his paws. "My life has been full of mistrust and of hate. What little love there was most of it has been taken away from me."

Nightstar sighed. "That's what I was afraid of. Since there's still water on the ground so we have to swim everywhere, then the river won't go down for a while, and the Gathering is in a few days! How are we supposed to get to the Gathering like this?"

Tinyflower smiled. "I can give you some lessons in love. I've loved enough toms and gotten heartbroken in my life to know a couple things. First, if you see another tom eyeing the she-cat you like, defend her! Take her out to hunt, and share prey with her, making sure the other tom is watching." she started.

"Okay!" Firekit meowed, and jumped on air. "Her tail is fun to jump on."
