The older colt lead the way, soon walking down the grand staircase and around the corner down another hall. It didn't take long to reach the large doors that led to the garden, opening the door for the young lord as he gestured a hoof toward the nicely decorated table. His ear twitched when a knock came at the front door, his head turning toward the sound with a grin. He gazed to his pocket watch and chuckled. "right on time.." he murmured under his breath.

Dream

Another few pages of paper flipped, soon stopping on one. "Reports state that the mangled remains of one Nightmare Chaser... or ... Chase, if you would prefer ... were found at the bottom of Ghastly Gorge. Analyses states that there was a struggle, leading him to crash into the gorge, where he was knocked about until finally a stray rock pinned his body to the bottom of the gorge and crushed his abdomen - death upon impact with the rock was immediate. The signs of struggle included bruising on the chest and flank area, along with several bite marks along the neck and sides." the stallion explained. "After the body analysis, the officials searched some record and found that you were in the last will in testament stating that his final wish was to 'be buried under the tree you both met under' ... seeing as we have no other records on him, we decided to come to you. We have the body here with us - all costs for the burial were paid for in advance, we only need you to instruct us to the site."

Cybie lightly growled, turning away, "We do speak about everything you know. I better not catch you snooping again child!" he barked, walking around Sparkler, and walking down the long hall. Clear hesitance in each step. "If you are to live in this house, you shall follow the rules like everybody else." the stallion growl as he looked back, just for a second before continuing his trotting.

Nightmare...
She couldn't believe her ears. He couldn't be dead... No... Tears were rushing down her face. She hid her face with her hair. The mare never relized until now that she cared about him so much. " This is all fake..." She growled. " He can't be dead!" She snapped, the mare's anger increasing along with shock. " But I guess it is..." She lowered her voice, her voice cracking from sadness. She gave a sigh, tears falling to the ground. "F-follow me..." She stuttered silently, walking over to the park and waiting for the stallion to follow. 'Poor Chase...' She thought to herself. 'But why do I miss him so much? Why was I in his last will? We're only friends...' The last sentence she thought made her think even more. 'Only friends... No more...No less... But there's no chance that he's alive... Nothing I can change.. Gone...' She thought, the thoughts dragging her into sobs. She thought for a moment. Maybe this was a dream... A nightmare... But it felt so real... It had to be real... But why, why did she feel so sad? Yes, he was a friend... But he wasn't any more than that... 'The spot where we met...'

Sparkler Oak:
" I am following rules! What's wrong with listening?" She asked, trotting after Cybie. " I just wanted to be part of the meeting too!"

growled, "Tots are not permitted to listen in to the business of Lord Lungbarrow unless given prior confirmation. That is the rule" Cybie turned towards Sparkler, "You are a cousin of Lungbarrow, we follow the rules of propriety that has followed this house for billions of years... Do not be the one to break it." with that he briskly walked into his quarters, slamming the door behind him so that Sparkler couldn't follow. "Hey... Don't worry about him... Lord Lungbarrow's always been like that..." a small child's voice came from behind, "I'm Edwardian Sky... 432nd generation Lungbarrow... Although technically not a child of the loom like you... I'm still registered in the matrix." The dark purple unicorn colt smiled, one of his eyes covered by his blonde and brown galaxy-like hair. Although his visible eye was a glossed over brown, he seemed to be able to see fine. "I'm assuming you're that new hybrid all the cousins are talking about... You're pretty famous for somepony who hasn't meet anypony but the uppers!"

Sparkler Oak:
She turned her head to Edwardin. " Nice to meet you! I'm Sparkler Oak." She grinned. " I'm already being talked about?" She asked in surprise, walking over to the colt. " Well, my mom isn't an upper.." She muttered under her breath. "Why would they care so much about me? I'm just a hybrid." She asked, noticing his eye and relized he was blind, but didn't say anything.

The blind colt laughed, "The Uppers are the first five of your generation and Lord Lungbarrow. You've meet a few of them, Eadric, Peter... And their siblings." he smiled, "it's not often we get new cousins... The loom only makes new cousins when another dies permanently. That's why everypony's talking about you!" the unicorn colt turned his head, "Hey want to see where your room will be. You'll be sharing one with my sister and I!"

Sparkler Oak:
She nodded. " Alright!" She grinned. " I have a sister two, but she's back on Equus with mother." She spoke.

The colt smiled, "It'll probably be a little while before you see them again...I hope you've heard about the border shut down." The colt mumbled as he lead the way. "No pony is allowed on or off Gallopfrey... Especially not aliens, Lord Lungbarrow says It's for the good of the universe of we don't exist." the blind colt looked down clealy distraught. "Anyway here we are! The nursery! There's some toys over there... Cradles if there are ever any cousins loomed as infants... And a beautiful few of the citadel! Well... Supposedly it was beautiful before the war..."

Sparkler Oak:
She looked around the room, smiling and walking over to the window. " The citadel was probably so pretty... It would be nice if it still looked like that." She sighed. " Where's your sister? And is she older or younger than you?" She asked. "How old are you, anyway? I'm 5." She spoke, sitting down on a bed.

"I'm the younger... And 10... I'm just on holiday from the Arcilian Academy... Moonlight is there doing extra study... She'll probably be back in the next few days.. the colt smiled, "Grandfather talks of it quite often. About his travels and everything... He gave me this eye after all." Edward smiled brightly, uncovering his right eye revealing the biotic truth to it.
