Swiftlily nodded and let her tiny kits suckle then she watched Frostpaw take out the stillborn kit."Her name would have been Honeykit",she whispered under her breath but right now she couldn't care about her stillborn kit she had to worry and care for her alive kits so she purred as they suckled and then she fell into a deep sleep.

Thistleleaf let out a sigh as he padded back to his den. It was always sad when a kit was lost, but at least two healthy she kits had been added to the Clan. The tom decided he would go and see Swiftstar about the new kits. He then turned and headed to the leaders den.

Flamefur finally rose from her nest after an extended nap. She padded out into camp and headed straight to the fresh kill pile, greeting Flamefang as she passed him.

The queen softly slept as her small kits suckled then she finally woke and looked at her gray kits that looked like her but she could see a bit of their father who they would never meet.

Thistleleaf sat at the entrance to his leaders den, "Swiftstar," he called out softly before waiting for permission to enter.

Duskkit mewled, calling for her mother. She blindly crawled closer and suckled hungrily.

The tom's ears flicked up."Come in",he answered blindly knowing it was his medicine cat.

The she-kit suckled her mother until she was completely full then her icy blue eyes opened.

After he was finished showing his new apprentice around the territory they both returned to clan camp "I will teach you how to hunt tomorrow" he said and began padding away "you should rest. You must be tired by now" he said to Bluepaw.

She watched as TornFlame left before turning and heading towards the apprentices den. She was a little scared because she wondered how many of the apprentices would actually accept her and how many would be mean towards her.

Thistleleaf stood up and headed in to Swiftstar's den, "Greetings, Swiftstar." He offered kindly, "Swiftlily's kits are born, two she's happy and healthy." He explained with the hint of a purr. "And Seapaw was excellent helping her with the kitting. She's turning in to a fine young medicine cat." He added, smiling.

The leader nodded lightly."Do you think she is ready to work along side you"?He asked lightly.He was wondering if Seapaw would be ready.The she-cat was very talented at her job and as for being an apprentice she needed to bumped up to medicine cat and work along side Thistleleaf but he wanted to make sure Thistleleaf thought the same and he would go to see Swiftlily and her kits later on.

Silverpaw rolled her eyes at her friend and ran over to Bluepaw. "I'm sorry about Duskpaw. He's a bit... stubborn about his views. I'm Silverpaw!" She said.

She looked at SilverPaw and shook her head "don't worry about it. I knew that most of the clan would not accept me when I joined. After all I don't know how to hunt even though I have been alone since I was 3 moons" she replied awkwardly.
