On delicate, grey paws, the soft white she-cat looked up at the light filtering into the warrior's den, although she did not see. Her faded blue eyes searched for her paws, as they gently patted the gentle earth. Lilacgaze sniffed the air, stepping out into the clan clearing.

Darkpaw lay on a tree branch in the forest, ripping through a squirrel with his teeth, with the same usual, angry-looking expression. Sunlight dappled through the leaves and onto his dark brown pelt.
