Wishpaw nodded. She had forgotten that Skypaw was once a kittypet and didn't know got to properly hunt. She got into position and meowed, "This is the Hunter's Crouch - Keep your body low with your tail sticking straight ahead. Hind legs must be ready to leap and front paws must be ready to pounce. (Who is Wishpaw's mentor? I don't think she has one) taught me that it is also a good fighting technique." She strolled forward, stepping gingerly. A mouse was nibbling on a seed not far from her. She ducked low, getting into position, and then launched herself. She killed the prey quickly and cleanly. She padded back, proud of herself. She had done everything right. "When you hunt a mouse, keep your pawsteps light on the ground and try to slide them so the mouse won't feel your pawsteps."

Crystalheart dipped her head to Star as she limped away. The she-cat seemed so willing to leave for some reason. She looked back at the two other Warriors, wondering if they should follow her like their leader had ordered them to.

tigerpelt watched star leave. he set out to following her, to make sure she left.

star limped off. she stopped a bit out of the border. she breathed heavily and lay down for a rest. her tummy rumbled, reminding her that she couldn't hunt. she sighed and stood. she noticed a mouse up ahead and stopped dead. she stalked towards it, only slightly favoring her leg. she lept, unevenly, but managed to catch it. she snapped it's neck and ate it slowly.
