Wishpaw bounded after Skypaw and Echosong, tail held high. She would prove that she was the best Hunter in the clan. All she had to do was catch more that Skypaw and Echosong combined. "I bet you I can catch the most prey!" She challenged.

Echosong giggled. "Sure, we can do that later. To start, why don't you show Skypaw the hunters

Wishpaw nodded. She had forgotten that Skypaw was once a kittypet and didn't know got to properly hunt. She got into position and meowed, "This is the Hunter's Crouch - Keep your body low with your tail sticking straight ahead. Hind legs must be ready to leap and front paws must be ready to pounce. (Who is Wishpaw's mentor? I don't think she has one) taught me that it is also a good fighting technique." She strolled forward, stepping gingerly. A mouse was nibbling on a seed not far from her. She ducked low, getting into position, and then launched herself. She killed the prey quickly and cleanly. She padded back, proud of herself. She had done everything right. "When you hunt a mouse, keep your pawsteps light on the ground and try to slide them so the mouse won't feel your pawsteps."

She was talking to Star as they forced her out of the territory, I think)

I walked through the forest, my legs aching from the long distance. I left my home because of the abuse. I was left for dead. So I kept walking forward, not knowing anything of my surroundings. I was lost but I didn't care, I was going wherever my paws took me.

Wishpaw nodded, then looked at Skypaw. "I think she went to chase the rogue out with Dovewing and Tigerpelt," she meowed.

Crystalheart listened to the story. "Lightningstrike and I were close as kits, but then we grew apart. We didn't spent much time together, and I rarely even saw him," she meowed.

"i know what you mean." she said thiking of bolt. " bolt was really close to me and scar when we were kits. but when we started exploring when we were still little he just broke off from us. he used to dissapear for hours and only came back when the sun was setting." star said taking a rest for a moment.
