Darkpelt let out a slight yowl of surprise as he was tackled into the water. He waited for the gross moment to pass when the water seeped through his fur and resurfaced. "Oh this again, huh?" He asked splashing her.

Squirrelfire giggled and nodded, splashing him back by sending a wave with her paws before beginning to swim away, giggling like a kit. This was one of the lovely times she could act as childish as she wanted and get away with it.

Darkpelt snorted and followed Squirrelfire, not caring that he was probably making a lot of noise. "You should've been named Duckwater or something," he joked.

Squirrelfire grinned at her mate from over her shoulder before scoffing at his comment, "even the thought of that name makes me gag." she laughed, kicking water at her mate with her hind legs.

Darkpelt laughed and splashed water at her with his front paws. "Squirrels don't swim as well as you do, and you aren't being extinguished by the water. How about... Otterfall? Get it?" He laughed again.

Squirrelfire rolled her eyes playfully at her mate, flicking her tail to get rid of a few drops of water. "It's Squirrelfire because of my pelt as well as my fiery personality." The she-cat giggled, splashing him with water yet again.

"Yeah, well, if you were going to be renamed for talent instead Otterfall might be a good name for you if it didn't sound so ridiculous. What would you be if you had to pick another name?" He asked splashing her again.

Squirrelfire nodded her agreement then giggled, "Maybe Gingerstream?" She suggested, Refering to her fur as well as her tendency to enjoy the water.

"Gingerstream would be a great name for you," he agreed. He grinned mischievously and splashed her again before diving underwater.
