[Asami Chan]

Sunstripe raced over to the coyote Redfeather was fighting. She scratched its muzzle, then leaped to one side, signaling for Redfeather to leap onto it while Sunstripe would distract the coyote leader.
Autumnkit let a sigh of relief as she got away from the coyotes and in a safe spot inside the nursery. She was prepared to fight if she had to. Shadowfur had also sheltered in the nursery, trying to keep the kits calm.

[Wolf Howls]

"It's all we need!" the leader howled. The coyotes were coming near him, one with Petalpaw in it's jaws. And another with Brightpaw. They coyotes padded out of camp. "Great job everyone. We should strike again sometime when we are low on prey." the leader woofed. The coyotes howled in agreement. Once they reached their camp, the coyotes settled into their dens. The apprentices were put into the coyotes prison, and Snowkit in the leaders den. He set her down. "Hello little kit." he said as he leaned down to her. "I am going to eat you."

"No! Help me!!" Snowkit screeched. She saw the entrance to the den. Yes! She ran out of the entrance. She began following the scent of the coyotes how they came to their camp.

"Palepaw! Brightpaw! Snowkit!" Sunstripe yelled as she ran through the forest, following the coyote trail. She saw coyotes sitting down.This must be their camp! She looked around, then saw a prison-like area. Palepaw and Brightpaw are in there! She screeched a battle cry, and launched herself at the coyotes that were sitting near the prison. She tackled one of them, then scented kit-scent. "Snowkit I'll be right there!" She yowled to the kit.

"Their entrance is so long Sunstripe!" Snowkit yowled and she was still on their long pathway.

[Asami Chan]

"Thanks for the note!" Sunstripe yelled as she raced into the entrance after getting Palepaw and Brightpaw out of the prison. She picked up Snowkit as soon as she got to her. "Get back to camp!" Sunstripe yelled at Palepaw and Brightpaw, then started running back the way she came.

Hollystar was sitting on the Highrock, waiting for the others to come back for a meeting.

Redfeather noticed that the coyotes had gone back to there camp. She padded over to the pile of moss bedding that was hiding the remaining kits. "It's safe to come out, now." She said lifting a piece of moss to reveal Brightkit whimpering and shaking. Greykit burst out of the moss a few inches away from Brightkit and rubed his side against Redfeather's. "Let's get you three cleaned up. Your apprentaceship ceremony will be soon." Redfeather said as eagerly as possible remember that the coyotes had taken some of her clanmates.
