Willowpaw flicked her ears, trying to make out what he had to say. With a look of happiness, she padded over and nuzzled him. "Just asking, when do you think I'll become a warrior? I heard a cat two moons younger than me is becoming one."

"T-that's Whisperstar's decision." He simply answered, his ears burning with embarrassment.

"Okay," she murmured quietly and sat back down.

"Should we- I mean, I, go consult Whisperstar about your warrior ceremony?" Duskblaze asked.

"Well.. if you want," Willowpaw said quietly.

Nodding briefly, Duskblaze bounded at Whisperstar's den and peeked his head inside. "Umm... Whisperstar?" He murmured, his ears perked and waiting for a reply.

Willowpaw felt excited, but she was probably not going to become a warrior.
