Adderpelt followed the scent trail back to their rabbits, and used his tail to scrape the earth of their bodies. Picking them up by the ears, the dark tom began his way back to camp, ut took his time so he'd calm down.

I sighed and padded Into camp. When I went into my den I noticed Willowpaw and Moonpelt. I looked at Willowpaw who looked a bit shaken up "What's wrong?" I asked her gently, even though inside I felt like sobbing in rain.

"I have a thorn stuck in my paw pad," she tells her, lifting the paw, her eyes starting to water as she felt even more pain.

I nodded and smiled "Alright, it'll be ok" I told the apprentice and began making a poultice. Once I finished I brought the leaf that contained it over to Willowpaw and nodded. I grabbed the thorn lightly in my teeth and pulled it out swiftly and quickly. I took some cobweb and applied some pulp to it. "Alright, just try not to step in anymore thorns" I told her with a small smile.
