So she sighed, "Ive decided to not get revenge on Vixen. The truth is, the only reason I dislike her to begin with was because shes my adoptive kit, I nursed her when my kits died, when Duststar brought her here." Tawnyfrost looked at the grey and black tom and meowed, "Her becoming what she is, is mostly my fault.. her father too maybe but.. when she was a kit i told her i hated her because she wasnt really mine." Tears formed in her eyes."Darkfeather, Im sorry for what I made you do... Im sorry for everything I put her through... It wasnt for the best... it was for my own selfish reasons.. i wanted her to suffer because she wasnt mine.." Tawnyfrost turned around to sort herbs.. not being able to face the warrior anymore..

Smirking triumphently at Whitetalon, Duskfire meowed, "Well.. i think we should head to bed, Frostwing looks like she wants to claw our fur off." He tried to point at the white she cat flexing her paws in her sleep. With a teasing smirk Duskfire chuckled.

Twilightflare laughed softly, glancing over at Whitetalon who looked at an angered, sleeping Forestheart. "So does Forestheart," he meowed in response, his eyes widened as the sleeping tom stirred, however he did not wake. Snickering, Twilightflare did her best to smile up at Duskfire and turned back out to watch the rain. She sighed, curling up next to Duskfire, gently placing her tail over her nose. Whitetalon watched her with a chuckle and once he was sure his sister was asleep, he glared at the tom. "Take care of her, or I'll break you," he meowed darkly, padding over to his nest and fell asleep.

His blue eyes widened and he gulped at Whitetalons words but he meowed with a smile, "Of course Whitetalon, i promise i wont hurt her." The. Duskfire curled up around Twilightflare and fell asleep.

He smiled and looked towards the clan, hopefully every cat thought the same. His best friend was finally spared.. closing his eyes he remembered the good old days as a kit rolling around in the dirt and dreaming of who their mentors would be.

After crossing through Cloud Clan territory, the fox colored she cat panted as she stopped at the Cinder Clan border.. there was no other way she could go... closing her eyes tightly, Vixen took a couple deep breaths and ran through Cinder Clam territory hoping no one could see her.. she had to get out of the rain.. but what would she do if she got to that river..shaking her head Vixen ran as fast as her little tired legs could carry her.
