History: Blackstep originally was a warrior apprentice, where he developed a crush on the medicine cat apprentice in his late apprentice days. When her mentor died and there was no kits interested in taking up the role of a medicine cat, he jumped at the chance and became her apprentice. Leaf-bare struck soon after he finished his training, and unfortunately his mentor died of harsh greencough. With no other cats capible of taking up the duties, he became the sole medicine cat and served his clan for few moons up until this point.
