Sunpaw hissed at the familiar voice, her shackles rising from her instincts telling her to run but there was no place to run to. The emnet shadow was coating her now, making her cough.
"Don't you regonize your own mother? Psh, my sister dropped you off in the forest cats to make you able to defeat me eh? She always had a soft spot for you, with your wonder and awe as you stated at those dungs."
"Shut up! I'll claw your eyes out! Bramblefur, run" sunpaw yowled, trying to escape whatever had claimed her.
"You really think he can hear you? Please, I'll murder your whole clan before the end of the moon." She laughed, obviously crazy, with scars running up and down her back.

Bramblefur pinned his ears back. He was on high alert. A sickly presence was surrounding his apprentice making it hard for him to get close to her. Her words echoed in his mind, "I'll claw your eyes out! Bramblefur run!" It sounded like two voices, and it sounded like it meant business. "I'm not leaving you!" he growled at her. "Whatever force is here shouldn't be able to be here."
