Scar grabbed the three kits by the scruff and leaped to the riverbank, making sure he had tight grip on the kits. He was running deeper into the forest until he got to a steep cave smelling like crowfood and other cats. The cat scent was faint, and Scar dropped the kits once in the cave " You shan't escape, since there is steep footing to get to the entrance. "

Frostkit looked around to make sure no one was looking, and then she scampered out of camp. She trotted along, feeling the wind on her face. Suddenly, her paw was stuck in the sand. She attempted to pull it out, but all of her paws were stuck. When she tried to pull them out she sunk deeper. "Help!" she squealed.
