Shadow looked at Dove, who looked back at him from inside the hole they used as a hiding place. "You listen here darlin', I need to go get some food. If I don't come back by sundown, you run as fast as you can. Get out, alright?" He said. She nodded. He licked her ear and padded towards the clan. The idea of stealing was wrong, but he had no choice. Done needed food soon, and they had no luck hunting recently.

Shadow crouched low in the shadows just outside the camp. He watched closely. He would need to be fast and get out as soon as possible. He waited for a minute or so before dashing out into the camp. He ran to the fresh kill pile, grabbed a mouse, and then turned around and darted back towards the safety of the shadows he was named for. He might mot be able to outrun the she cats, but he had to risk it. Dove NEEDED this.
