Nightstar trudged through the snow. "The snow is getting deeper." she noted. "That makes it harder to find prey." she sighed.

he nodded then started to pad back to camp. "Did you sleep well?" he asked in low voice to Hawktalon.

Hawktalon nodded her head as she padded beside him. "Yeah, just waking up with a pile of snow on my back," she admitted as she looked back at her fur that was covered in snow.

Woodpaw ran over to Darkpaw and picked up a sparrow, and sat down. She wrapped her tail around her paws and waited for the tom to grab something as well.

Darkpaw almost went to pick up a squirrel but stopped himself, "Should we share the sparrow since, we are kind of low on prey?.. that way some other cats can have some prey too." he asked waiting for a reply.

Spirit looked down from the tree to talkk to ivypaw," hey ivypaw u should tell nightstar to hunt in the trees there is loads of prey up here!" She called down bringing 3 mice in her jaws

Nightstar scented the air, and she gasped in delight. "I smell mouse scent under the snow. More than one mouse scent." she laughed in excitement as she dug up a mouse nest and quickly killed the mice, dragging the mice back to camp.

Featherheart looked around camp for Shadowpaw. "I wonder where he is..." she said still looking around for him.

he slwoly got closer to her. "well if you are cold you can walk closer to me.." he said feeling a little awkward. "only if you want to that is..." he looked at the ground as he padded.

Spirit goes to the fresh kill pile and places the 3 mice she caught on there just as nighstar walks into camp seeing if she would notice she caught them.

Nightstar dragged the mouse nest into camp. "Look, every cat! We can feast today, I've found a mouse nest complete with baby mice!" she mewed dramatically as she set the mouse nest down. "Every cat can pick whichever piece of fresh-kill they like!"

Featherheart looked around camp for Shadowpaw. "I wonder where he is..." she said still looking around for him.

Shadowpaw yawned as he walked out of the apprentice den and stretched as he made his way over to the fresh-kill pile. He sniffed the pile and shrugged his shoulder as he turned to see Featherheart looking for him. "Featherheart," he said as he waved his tail at her.

Hawktalon purred as she pressed closer to Shadowstorm as they walked. She then sniffed the air and blinked lightly as she looked around. "Nightstar's out here," she meowed as she looked around, wondering if she would see their leader. She then shrugged her shoulders and then saw the camp entrance coming into view. "I'll talk to her later," she said as she walked into Shadowstorm.

Softbreeze had pulled back from her usual spot at the enters ve to the nursery, having found that it had become too cold for her liking.

When she heard Nightstar speak, however, she decided that she could face the cold long enough to visit the fresh-kill pile.
