He sat up and glanced around curiously.

Bramble forced a light smile and sighed. "Yeah, I can't imagine a forest cat going to the city, it would be a pretty big game changer, just like my brothers and I coming to the forest" He meowed with a faint laugh.

Sparrowkit came bounding from the nursery, tumbling onto Skykit. "Hey! Did you hear who got to be deputy? Cause I didn't" He squeaked with a small smile.

He looked over at SparrowKit and shook his head "not really but I think I heard it was Tallstep...but I'm not really sure." He replied and wondered if what he had heard was right.

Frostpaw nodded with a laugh. "If I ever stepped paw into the city, I'd be crushed by a monster on a thunderpath in less than five minutes," she joked, shivering at the thought of a thunderpath. The images of the creatures roaring and flashing past scared her halfway to death.

Sparrow jumped up and purred. "Cool, I don't know much about him, other then he's tall" He chirped.

Bramble twitched his ear and laughed. "Yeah, it's easy when you're used to the rumbling and what not" He shrugged. "You stop feeling and hearing them after awhile, which sounds bag but, you know they're there still, like it's instinct, just in your mind at all times" He meowed with a small yawn.

"I don't think I know anything about him except he's a warrior" he replied and looked around "I wonder if it's true that he's the new deputy"

Sparrow jumped up and purred. "Cool, I don't know much about him, other then he's tall" He chirped.

Bramble twitched his ear and laughed. "Yeah, it's easy when you're used to the rumbling and what not" He shrugged. "You stop feeling and hearing them after awhile, which sounds bag but, you know they're there still, like it's instinct, just in your mind at all times" He meowed with a small yawn.

"Well, since I'm not a city cat, I highly doubt I'd ever get used to a thunderpath," Frostpaw replied.

Silverclaw felt as if she would faint. Tallstep? Thats an even worse choice than Thornfur. Oh pathetic. Shes asking him to promise he wont kill anyone, the same thing smokepelt said. Thats one thing about Rosestar. Shes been a clan cat all her life. The wild of running for your life everyday trained Silverclaw to the truth of things like promises. One day as a kit Silverclaw's mother promised she would return, she was captured and killed that day. Silverclaw's father died later that night of heartbreak. That was promises to Silverclaw. Promise and Lie share two similar letters, but promise and truth only share one. 1/2 of the promises someone makes will be lies. That was what Silverclaw went by for promises. She doubted Rosestar had ment to not say Tallstep. How could she mess up such a great decission?

Sparrowpaw could tell her mentor was thinking the same thing she was. Why Tallstep? Had Rosestar made a mistake? How could she be mousebrained enough to choose such a mousebrain?

Bramble shrugged and meowed. "You never know I guess, maybe you could. Though from the sounds of it, you wouldn't want to head to the city. Honestly I don't blame you, unless Cadas and Shinda come back there's no way to get back there." He shrugged again, twitching his tail about.

Sparrowkit shrugged. "Huh, cool. I hope he's a good one, I wonder what happened to Brownshade too" He squeaked curiously.

(Maybe cool it a bit with the hate on Tallstep? I mean, I feel like I'm being kind of hated for having him my character now ;w;')

Frostpaw nodded. "Yeah," she meowed, laying down on the branch and stretching. She had so many thoughts swirling about in her head, but she couldn't really think about them that much. They were just... there.
