Vermillion slunk around the border in disbelief, watching as snarls were torn from the other wolves while Vetani just smirked and fluttered her eyelashes. His lip curled in disgust before he forced it to slide back down.

Soul chased after Lilith, feeling the sorrow emotions that she did. "Lilith," was all she was able to spit out before she fell to the ground. She probably didn't want her to see her cry but oh well, she had the same emotions too. "That-that-that......" she paused for a long while. She dated him long ago and he didn't tell her about him. Even though that was a long time ago she still had feelings and they were hurt.

Crays face twisted in a mask of anger and defiance and he turned away, dissapearing into his den with Vetani wuick on his heels. he turned around and was surprised by another hot kiss. he pushed her back quickly. "Im not yours." he growled. she sat, infuriatingly calm and stared at him. he ran a paw through his longer fur over his forehead. "things have changed, i cant be with you, i dont love you. and i think you know that." he said. she shook her head, "I think you knwo that you very much are." she said, standing and brushing past him. he bit his lip and slammed a paw into a shelf, kicking it and its contents over with a loud crash, he hipped around to find her looking down at a rolling bowl that had landed by her paw, she glanced back at his with an amused little smile and stepped into his room.

kirsten perked her ears at the crash, heard even out here and slashed a paw through hte dirt in front of her. vetani made things so difficult all the freaking time.


Roan stepped forward easily and brought a paw up to just in front of her hind leg, high on her side with a steady paw. pushing her gently closer to the rock wall yet staying behind her on the little footpath.

Lilith turned to Soul, her words coming out more harshly than she had meant. "Go away Soul," she snapped, tears already streaming from her eyes as her calm demeanor was broken. The floodgates had broken, and she was an open book. All the hurt in her life, the pain, the torture, was shining through as she just sobbed. Her claws ripped into the ground as she felt her heart split, shatter, disintegrate, what have you. "I can't take it," she whispered. They were only halfway up the hill, both girls tilted on the slant.

Lia shivered softly at the touch, her breathing still quick from the almost fall. Carefully, she maneuvered her paws so she was turned around to face Roan.

Roan tilted his head slightly in confussion, she should be walking the rest of he distance rather than turning around. he stood patiently, eyes faintly amused but more curious as to what she apperently had to say to him that couldnt wait.

Soul shook her head at Lilith's outburst. "I understand how you feel, you don't want me here, I know, but I know how you feel. How do you think I feel?! Just as hurt." she hissed before one tear fell down her cheek. Another tear followed, then another, and soon rivers started pouring from her cat eyes. "What has he done?!" she growled out, it was low, menacing, and sorrowful even though he wasn't dating her.

Family member? She didn't seem so. Friend? Nope, friends didn't go around smothering each other in kisses unless they were in something more serious. Girlfriend/previous girlfriend? Probably. Shayde shrugged and retreated into the shade of a tree, watching Cray and Vetani disappear into his den. She was intensely curious as to what was happening, and averted her eyes with some difficulty, just to find Lilith run off with Soul to follow a moment after.

Lia let a little smile cross her face, looking up into Roan's forest green eyes. "Thank you," she said sincerely, obviously not just for the catch. For everything, she had needed this, whatever 'this' was she didn't know, but she had needed it.

Lilith shook her head. "You have no idea how I feel Soul," she spat. "You have no idea how I feel when he's off with a girl from his past, when one of them is even obviously trying to win over his heart again. Do you think I can compete with her? With you? You don't know how it feels to open up your heart to someone after years and years of abuse, have him return your feelings, and then have him ripped away from you! You had Phoenix, you have Kione! You're going to have a litter of pups! Why can't you just be happy with that?" she sobbed, eyes flashing as her emotions poured from her maw. Inside she hated that she was taking it out on Soul, she hated herself for it more than she had thought, but her words wouldn't stop once she had started.

Soul sighed. "Yell at me all you want, get it out, right now I don't care!" she hissed. "You don't understand, fact of the matter is, not me or you understand each other's feelings because we are competing against each other like you said. I can't be happy because I messed with fate and desire too much! I've turned the tables, I didn't let things fall into step. I rushed into things, I teased and tore with other's hearts. Fate and destiny are done with me, they abandoned me a long time ago!" she stopped, took in a couple deep breaths, then her tone softened. "Let it all out....."
