Berrypaw ran to Omenfang "hey Omenfang can we pretty please with mouse on top practice hunting today? I want to beat Fogpaw's score yesterday!! Please?"

The tom practically purred at the apprentice's enthusiasm. "Perhaps later. I have to go on patrol right now. I'm waiting on the others currently." he meowed. Omenfang sat down and wrapped his tail around himself letting it drape over his paws lazily.

"Awww, but what about after you get back?" Berrypaw nuzzled Omenfang "I promise I will bring back a eagle and the biggest mouse in the world!"

Fawnpelt overheard Berrypaw, a small smile appeared onto her face as she let out a soft purr.
"Oh Berrypaw, dont degrade youself like that" She said softly. Fawnpelts voice was allways very gently and her eyes were allways very soft towards others. "You could hunt yourself a racoon or maybe even a fox if you tried hard enough" She whispered, gently dipping her head down to the small apprentice in apprication.

Berrypaw wandered over to Fawnpelt, eyes wide. "A raccon, have you ever seen what they loom like I heard from Appleclaw that they love to eat cat hearts and live in piles of muck" Berrypaw heard about raccons before but diddn't think a cat, even a small cat like her could catch a cat eating stinky beast like that!

Fawnpelt smiled kindly and she gently licked the small apprentices ears. "But do you think they'd have a chance up agentst you? Not a chance" She purred, she loved filling hope into all of the hearts of the apprentices, she knew it was better then drilling their brains with fear like her brother often did.
Fawnpelt slowly shook her head and let out a small sigh, "From you to me.. I dont even think Appleclaw has seen a racoon before" she whispered, her nose twitching like it allways did when she was happy.

She giggled Fawnpelt always had the best jokes and storys. "Can you tell me the story about the frozen river?" Berrypaw loved this story but it made her worry what if all tbe water froze what would happen to the clan?

Fawnpelt nodded softly, "You out of all cats should know that im not a very good warrior... I get very distracted with the smells of all of the rarer herbs and plants around the forrest, Ive snuck out more than once and have stayed on a trail of the scent of herbs for days.. its a bad habit" She said with a small sigh, laying down next to the smaller apprentice, Fawnpelts long fur draped over Berrypaw to keep her a little bit warmer as she told her story.
"There was one day.. I just had become a warrior... it was Leafbare and the snow was draped over everything, leafbare makes me cranky, kills all of the precious herbs" She snorted and gave off a small smile. "This one day in leafbare, I could smell something.. it was under the mud next to the far stream, the ground was hard but I had a scent of something.. I just diddent know what... I started to dig and dig and dig until I exausted myself, not even putting a dent in the hard earth bellow" She said, her brow furrowing as she tried to remember.
"It took me days and days and days.. I diddent notice the sun shining one day as I was digging, all I could focus on was that I was so close to a herb that I diddent know yet, that maybe it was rare or maybe it could help the clan" She said and swallowed hard. "I diddent notice the ice cracking but when I did, it was to late. I felt paralyzed under the freezing water.. I couldent move.. I couldent breathe.." She whispered. "I just remember it turning black and waking up in the clan..my long fur was dripping wet and I was so cold" she chuckled nervously and turned to Berrypaw, "Dont ever go out on your own.. its dangerous.. I may do it from time to time but im trying to find things to save other cats" She said with a purr, licking the small apprentices nose. "Someone saved me that day but you might not be so lucky if you get into that bad of trouble, just remember to have someone with you and not to be as mouse brained as I am" She said with a small smile

"Who saved you? You haven't told me, ever. Can you tell it again but with all the other apprentices? I love it! It shows me how silly even the best warriors can be!" Berrypaw stiffened realizing how bad that situaton could have been if that cat left Fawnpelt. "Sorry I should be more kinder, I have to go and wake the other apprentices up or they will get in trouble!!, bye bye Fawnpelt see you later!"

Fawnpelt smiled softly and stood up, her tan pelt was glossy and warm in the sunlight. "Id be happy to tell them, dear" She said with a purr, she bobbed her head down to the apprentice and heaned her ears forward, something she allways did to show another cat that she enjoyed the conversation.
Fawnpelt slowly turned and wagged her bobbed tail, her long fur flowing with the wind.

Appleclaw kept his head close to the ground as he grumbled to himself, he allways seemed unhappy and the exact opposite of his sister.

Spiritpaw wakes up hearing sounds coming outside of the den.looks at leg and wiggles it slowly."hmm" spirit says to self. Looks around to see if anyone was there.
