Aria stepped out of the bush, standing beside Ash. "He isn't bad," She commented with a smile. Ray waved shyly at Alessa, a small smile on his face.

[Boomer]

"Oh, I know he isn't, she's just afraid." said Ash softly, "She was almost burned to death, so she's a bit weary." Alessa gave a small nod, then sniffed Ray's snout. She couldn't help but be a little nervous of the fire on his back. The Surskit soon crawled out of the knapsack and sprayed some water into the air. It seemed happy and sat on Ash's shoulder.

This time, Barricade was thrown by the attack. It hit a tree and stuck there, like some strange exotic fruit. Zero saw that Emolga was gearing up for another attack, and that his own pokemon was helpless. "Barricade quick, use Spikes!" Barricade shot out a spray of thorns in front of it, hopefully discouraging any attack.

[Boomer]

Ash looked over at Barricade and frowned. "Awe, poor thing!" she exclaimed, "C'mon Barry, you can do it!"

xxxxIris was pleased when the Ferroseed was flung back from herself and stuck onto the tree behind it. She was getting weak but she wasn't about to loose. The Ferroseed sent out an abundance of thorns between her and it. Leaving her stuck at her distance. She barred her teeth slightly with a hint of a growl. This gesture wasn't to the Ferroseed of even the trainers, but to herself for not winning the battle yet. The many welts on her skin still stung but that wasn't making her stop yet. She charged up for another attack, more sparks of electricity dancing around her face. She strained once more, shooting a bolt of electricity towards the Ferroseed. If that didn't do it, then Iris was done for. She didn't think she had any more energy to use another attack even if she needed to. She could only pray that this last attack of Spark would finish off the Ferroseed. Then she could go take a, very much needed, nap. This battle would be a close call for both of the pokemon.

[Boomer]

Ash frowned some, seeing how hurt Iris was. She wanted to interrupt the battle to help her, but she couldn't. "Poor little thing..." she said softly. She sat down and petted Alessa and Boomer.

[InfectedHau]

The Emolga finally used a special attack, which meant trouble for Barricade. The Ferroseed's physical defenses were considerable, but it was vulnerable to special-based attacks. His only hope was to cancel out the attack before it could hit. He had only just met Barricade, but he already cared for it as much as he cared for Lockdown. "Barricade, use Bullet Seed again!" Barricade began to spin again, tearing itself free. A barrage of seeds collided midair with Emolga's Spark, and an explosion filled the air as the two attacks canceled each other out.

[Boomer]

Ash backed up some and slightly winced. Boomer and Alessa backed up as well, a bit surprised. "Woah, that was so cool!" exclaimed Ash, "It was all 'zaaaap' and 'ratatatata', then boom!" She smiled some, a bit excited. She patted the Surskit and sighed a little. "I'll call you Maxwell." she said.

xxxx Her attack never made contact with her opponent. Instead a burst of falce fireworks lit up the area between them. Iris sat there, star-struck and panting. She glanced up at the trainer in sheer shock. That was all she had left. She'd be able to get a small burst of electricity out but not enough to finish off the Ferroseed. She hoped the trainer would return it's Ferroseed and call off the battle. And as much as she hated to admit it, she didn't think she would be able to finish off the Ferroseed and win the battle. Either way she emitted her small spark of electricity, barely reaching the Ferroseed, and probably doing as much damage as a small zap and a tickle, aka ...none.

[Boomer]

"Zero, do you plan on catching her?" she asked, a bit concerned. She hated to see Iris in pain, especially since she was a wild Pokemon. She simply couldn't be taken to the Pokemon Center, unlike Barricade. She sighed some and watched the little Emolga.
