Spiderface quickly sprung from his lazy, stretched out position on the tree, his eyes widening and his fur standing on end. He almost fell from the tree, his claws gripping into the bark and hoisting him up at the last second. He turned to see his leader, desperately trying to regain his composure. He let out an irritated growl. She could have been an enemy warrior about to kill me and I wouldn't have seen it coming! Mentally scolding himself, he sighed and relaxed himself. "A cat, preferably." He finally answered, snark thick in his voice.

Nightpelt just nodded. His apprentice was wise beyond his years. There was absolutely nothing that could be done yet until something occurred for them to connect the dots. But, Nightpelt couldn't help but worry.

When Finchpaw spoke of discarding the used bedding, the Medicine Cat glanced his way and only gave yet another nod. He was lost in thought, anxious for the leader's return so that he could relay to her what he had been told. She needed to be on guard too in case this 'smog' came soon. There was no telling just what was going to come to pass...
