Let me know if you come up with anything." Turning he raced out of the den to find Sagepaw in an uproar. He blinked at her, glancing from side to side when she didn't seem injured to see if he could find what it was she was so upset about. "What's the matter, Sagepaw?" he asked after a short pause.

Stonefur slowly looked up to meet the other tom's gaze. "O-oh. Hello," he greeted in return. All the noise around camp was beginning to make it very difficult for him to relax. He wondered if he should leave and go hunting. He wanted to ask Patchpelt to come along, but he didn't want to bother the other warrior. Instead, he began to get to his paws, shaking his fur as he stood there. "Um... I'm going to go hunting," he then said, part of him wishing Patchpelt would come with him without the grey-tom having to ask him to.

Stonefur showed the slightest of smiles, happy to hear the other tom's request. "Of course," he meowed softly, turning with a swish of his tail. He started out of camp, butterflies fluttering in his chest.

Akbadain wrote:Nightpelt grew worried. He glanced from side to side, unsure of what to do. She was unresponsive, but even as little as she was moving, he could see the rise and fall of her chest, so he knew her to be breathing; thus alive. He wanted to take her to his den, but transporting her would be impossible. His apprentice was absent, so he looked to Sagepaw. "May I ask you to retrieve a few things from my den for me?" he asked her, his voice urgent.

Stonefur continued on, opening his jaws only slightly so as to better scent for prey. He turned to Patchpelt and blushed slightly himself, before sighing. "Sometimes I wish I had an apprentice," he said idly, just trying to make conversation. He didn't know what to talk about, so he just blurted out the first thing that came to mind. It seemed sort of silly after he spoke it, but by then it was too late. He blushed again, this time more intensely from embarrassment as he turned away, making as if he was looking for prey when he was really only trying to hide the pink in his cheeks.
