Purpleflower is eating a rabbit from the fresh-kill pile.

Fernripple grinned as he swayed his tail. "I was hoping we could get some of the other apprentices and their mentors to join us but most of them seem to be out the camp right now. Maybe we will run into one of them and practice hunting in pairs." Letting out a soft hum he then gesture with his tail for Jaypaw to follow him. "Until then why don't you show how well your hunting skill has improved since last time, okay?"

"Okay!" Jaypaw said excitedly and bounced after her mentor. She didn't know how well or if her hunting skill had improved but she would try her best like always.

Jumping over the small stream the passed through the camp Fernripple lead Jaypaw into the forest until he found a suitable spot to hunt. "Alright, Jaypaw tell me what do you smell?"

Jaypaw followed silently and when they stopped and he told her to tell him what she smell. She flicked her tail a little nervously and closed her eyes sniffing the air. She could smell a few things but after a few times she opened her eyes and looked up at Fernripple and said "Hmm... I smell a vole I think."
