Shasta walked along the fence. Life in the twoleg place was so quiet now. With the news of the forest cats being more active than usual the kittypets and loners had become overly cautious. Especially around her. They smelled the scent of the forest lingering on her fur as well as the scents of forest cats, so they tended to avoid her. They came up with ridiculous stories of how she'd send forest cats to attack them if they made her mad. Shasta soon came to a stop at her own nest and looked out into the forest. The sun sent rays of light bouncing off the studded collar Duskshadow gave her as well as off the bell of her own collar.

"Well, I have feathers. More then I started with." Duskshadow purred and walked back to the elder's den. "What would you rather have, feathers from a nest, or angry birds?"

Skyfire
The greying tom laughed. "I could hear the screeching from in here. Thank you for going through all the trouble. A soft nest is much preferable to the angry mobs of birds."

Ravenwhisp giggled and nodded, "Squirrelpaw is quite close with myself. I've heard a lot about him as well." She giggled, Nuzzling his cheek. (Wb)

"The two of them are happy together, so I am happy. I know that Squirrelpaw is a good cat. She will be a good influence on Oakpaw at the very least." Silent star purred as he rubbed against his new mate.

Duskshadow laughed and set some feathers in his nest. "There, nice and comfy." She said as she stepped back and nodded.

Recap:Sunstrike and Duskshadow were getting feathers for Skyfire's (elder) nest. The two of them have started being friends. Silentstar became mates with Ravenwhisp, but they haven't told anyone yet. Tiger and Echo joined the clan. Their names are now Echostreaam and Tigerblaze.}}

"Thank you very much," the elder said as he settled into the soft nest. He closed his eyes and purred as he let his aching bones rest.

"Yeah of course," He looked puzzled and wondered why she was asking him. After he had had such a good time with her he had almost forgotten that she was very new to the clan. "Wanna share?" He asked heading to the fresh kill pile himself.

"Sure." Duskshadow padded over to the fresh kill pile and pulled out a plump bird. "Is this ok?" She shuffled her paws nervously as she thought about how one mistake could ruin this life.
