TroutFern soon slowed down her speed for Bloodstar, waiting for the leader to catch up, then Troutfern picked up the speed, again behind Darkshade's steps.

Darkshade ignored the remark by Blood. Dark took notice of Troutfern and took a sharp right then scurried up a tree, she scanned the area for prey before hopping branch by branch back onto the firm earth. Dark shook her pelt and continued to scan for tracks or any sign of prey.

[Rain_]

TroutFern quickly stopped, nearly tripping into a bush startled by DarkShade's turn. Her eyes glared silently at her then TroutFern lifted her chin, expecting a scent of prey.

Bloodstar headed towards the border, "Doesn't seem like anyone has crossed." She muttered to herself.

Dark flicked her ears as she spotted a hare minding his own business. Dark crouched low and crept forward, her eyes widened as she breathed silently and carefully placed her paws in the correct places so the leaves and sticks didn't creak. Her underbelly was inches from the ground as she was in pouncing range, the rabbit twitched its tail but didn't notice her. Darkshade pounced onto the small furry creature and snapped its neck quickly. Dark stood and licked her muzzle, "Got mine." she said as she carried it over to the others.

TroutFern then caught a flash but small grey running up to a hole near a tree trunk. TroutFern quietly crouched down to the ground, keeping her weight light for a crouch. She slowly sneaked up to the hole, avoiding any twigs that might be able to snap and ruin the hunt for her. She then noticed Bloodstar had finally came, but didn't speak, not wanting to scare off her prey.

[Rain_]

TroutFern took a few more steps, silently. Her claws unsheathed, striking to the prey unexpectedly. Her claws pierced into its tiny body, then quickly locking her jaws into it, successful. ''Thought you could get away from me, huh?'' TroutFern then padded back to the others, noticing DarkShade had already caught her catch.

Bloodstar nodded, glade the hunting was picking up once more. She spotted a small gray mouse and crouched down and crawled towards it. She stepped on a branch and the small creature was gone, "Foxdung!" She meowed loudly and realized her mistake and flattened her ears. "Sorry.." She whispered.

Darkshade chucled at her friend, "You'll get it next time." Dark slowly stood. "Guess we should head back. eh?" The Deputy said as she began to walk forward.

Bloodstar nodded, "I'm rusty because of leafbare." She joked. She turned around.
