The cream colored she-cat's ears perked up to hear her leader's voice. Roseheart was quite glad to see that she was feeling better, though it had been a while since they spoke. "Hi, Arcticstar!" She purred in delight and gave her tail a small flick. "I'm great, how have you been?"

"Kind of stressful, I hate to admit that, but still.." Her voice trailed off, her eyes trailing off to her wounds from the last battle they had, "how are you doing?" She asked, concerned.

Roseheart looked towards the silver and white she-cat with worry of her own. She seemed to noticed the battle wounds, and scars, but there was slight pain in the leader's eyes. "I'm fine," Roseheart mewed softly and gave her wounded paw, from the battle with Floss{forgot her nameXD} and Sharppaw, a quick lick. "You shouldn't stress yourself too much, we all fought very hard..." Roseheart began to think something else in her mind, unsure if she should ask. "Arcticstar...You never quite told me how Leafst-your sister became so-bad...Why did Darkforest choose her?"

"Long story." She sighed softly, "you don't have to worry about me hiding from the question. I had seen the truth behind her acts, so, I guess... It's a long story." She repeated herself. "You really want to know?"

Roseheart nodded lightly, like a young kit wanting to hear a story from an elder. "Yes please," she meowed thoughtfully.

She took a deep breath before going through her story. "Leafstar and I were born from the same mother, same clan. And we were always together for some reason. And everything went so well in times where we were still kits. And our mother actually died after our father left us after our birth, and everything started to go down hill. We were apprenticed in the same way, though I have better performance, and you guessed it, jealousy was the reason why she had decided to join the dark forest, because she was jealous of my success, and she began her training and turned quite brutal when it comes to mock-fights, I almost died under her claws if the mentor didn't stop me. And I could tell it in my eyes that she was trying to strangle me to death, she wanted me dead. She blamed me for our mother's death, our father's runaway and her own failure. And by the night before our warrior ceremony, she turned her back on me and ran away from the clan, and we never heard from her since then, but," her bit her tongue, the memories all flowing back. "Breathe, Arcticstar. Breathe." She stopped for a moment before beginning, "but, she had vowed that she would destroy her original clan, even if it costs thousands of cats, our warrior ancestor's death, she wanted me dead. And that's why the dark forest chose her, because they knew that she wanted to be stronger than me, a cat who had powers of starclan in their own paws. The Dark Forest used her too well, to turn her back from me and from the clan, and she's stepping deeper and deeper into the wrath of the dark forces."

Roseheart's green eyes narrowed as she listened to the story, wanting to shiver her fur right off her skin. "That sounds awful..." She meowed afterwards, slowly blinking her eyes. "There must be a way to turn a cat from such evil...I realized something.That's much how Shallowpaw and Sharppaw are, except when Sharppaw was born Darkforest was already a part of him.." Roseheart looked to her paws. "I could see it in his eyes, all darkness and no light at all," her eyes continued to focus on the ground as she remember having to defend herself from him. "I wonder how Shallowpaw feels, you didn't notice, but he ran into me with Crookedpaw...Then he seemed to remember me somehow and ran away, not even scratch was on him."

"I think he saw those lights around you, in a perspective of a Dark forest cat. Maybe they knew that you are destined to be something to them. I mean, Sharppaw." She replied softly.
