Seeing Snakepaw's muscles bunch up, she guessed that he was about to leap. Just as his feet left the ground, she side steped, moving out of range.

Wolfshadow straighten himself up to see the training apprentices, he watched Snakepaw's every move, ready to give him advice if he needed it.

(I'm gonna ask Grits if I can be a mod, when she's online again, so I can accept forms when she's gone. I stay home all day due to homeschool..)

Snakepaw saw her shift her weight, and as he landed he turned on a paw and swiped out with his forepaw, trying for her ears.

Stonesong smiled. "Well played, Willowpaw. That was a fine move. Now use his momentary surprise to try and unbalence him!"

Willowpaw heard her mentor, and tried to follow her advice, but it seemed that Snakepaw had recovered quickly. She ducked her head to avoid his paws and bunched up her haunches, preparing to spring over him.

Wolfshadow kept silent, his apprentice was doing exceptionally well. It's seemed as if none of Willowpaw's moves fazed him.

Snakepaw saw her duck down, and aimed a hefty blow at her shoulder, aiming to knock her down.

Stonesong narrowed her eyes, letting her apprentice work it out for now.

Willowpaw had kept her legs spread, to avoid being knocked down, instead, she was pushed back a few paces. Willowpaw ducked out of range again, and circled around Snakepaw, sweeping a paw into his feet as she went.

Snakepaw allowed himself to be knocked over, grasping at her shoulders, trying to take her down with him.

She was unexpectedly brought to the ground, flipping around she was face to face with Snakepaw. "You're hard to beat!" she huffed and pushed herself to her paws, offering a paw to help him up as well.

"Quick thinking Snakepaw." He purred, pride filled his chest. He is going to be a great warrior if he keeps this up.

"I do try my best...." he purred. "Thanks," he said, accepting the paw up. "You did well, too." To his mentor, he mewed, "Thanks. I learned from one of the best..."

To Willowpaw, Stonesong said, "Good job knocking him over and rolling on top. Can you think of any moves that would bring you out on top?"

Willowpaw purred, blushing from the praise she received. She looked up at her mentor and nodded, "If I did this!" She shouted and pounced onto Snakepaw.
