Ashwhisker grinned, "It is nice to have freedom isn't it." she purred. "Soon, very soon. You're already almost the same size as me and I'm 20 moons!" She laughed lightly, she couldn't remember the last time she had laughed so freely. Not having to force herself to laugh.. It felt great to feel free again.

Firekit grinned happily. "I wonder who my mentor will be... Can you tell me a story? How about the one about Ivyclan?"

AshWhisker looked down at the small kit. She gave a halfheartedly smile, "I would if I could Firekit. Thing is I was on a trip when it happened and didn't come back until it was over.. All I really know is that we had a really rough go at each other.." She sighed and smiled, "I'm sorry."

Ashwhisker nodded, "of course!" He was a previous deputy." She laughed, "He was one of the fluffiest cats I knew!"

Firekit giggled. "Were you two close?"

"Not extraordinarily close. But we were friends. He was much much closer with EmberFade." AshWhisker laughed as she remember the calico shecat that had ran off from the clan a couple moons back.
