Vixenleap looked over at Ashstar and padded over and mewed," Can I please talk to you... Its about Gingerpaw." She looked up at her leader half dareing him to say no, half begging him to listen to her.

(Gingerpaw wants to be the medicine cat apprentice, but there wasn't a medicine cat so she was put as a normal warrior apprentice... so...)

Foxpaw growled and rolled her eyes and padded over to his mentor.

Gingerpaw whimpered, and stammered," Bu-but..." She shook her head and stayed quiet. She never wanted to be a warrior, just a medicine cat.

Blackpaw snorted, and padded over to Fallenstep.

"Oh, is something bothering you?" She said gently.

He jumped down from high rock and landed next to Vixenflame. "Is there something you needed?" He meowed facing her.

Stormwing looked down at Foxpaw, "Is there something we need to talk about while we're on the patrol?" she said, starting to walk. She noticed that her apprentice seemed agitated.

Vixenleap sighed and mewed," I don't think Gingerpaw should be a warrior apprentice... She's so shy and she loves herbs. She told me the day that she was made Fallensteps apprentice she wished that she had become a medicine cat apprentice. Over the moons of her being a kit she often visited the medicine cat den, and tried to help Honeyflair with putting herbs away and healing our sick and wounded. Sure she messed up a lot... but... she loves it."

"And I promised her that... I could convince you or Honeyflair to make her a medicine cat apprentice." She paused to breath then went on and mewed," And I can't let my little sister down, sir... I cant." She looked down at her paws, not meeting his gaze.

Foxpaw growled," Its nothing... Back off."

Gingerpaw shook her head.

Stormwing growled, "Excuse me?" she snarled, baring her teeth. The shecat was in a bad mood.

He nodded his head in understanding. "I was never aware of this before, I'm very sorry." He meowed. "Once she and Fallenstep return i shall tell her and you can tell Gingerpaw." He finished, gazing at Fallenstep and Gingerpaw. "This will be her last patrol."

"ok, whatever you say." she meowed quietly. "Well then, lets go." she said, leading the patrol out of camp.

Brambleshade followed Fallenstep. She was so pretty....

Fallenstep snapped her gaze over to Stormwing and foxpaw. They looked as if they were ready to claw eachothers pelts off. She quickly dashed over to them. "Cut it out you two!" She growled glaring at both of them. "No need to be in a quarrel."
