Kestrelflame purred and licked his cheek.

Flintfoot walked into the warriors den and sat in his nest.

"Sleep well." She murmured before taking a bite. She chewed thoughtfully, wondering what the future had in hold. Leader? Riverstorm? Flintfoot? Kestrelflame? She had no idea.

Flintfoot then laid down, secretly listening to Pineleap and Kestrelflame with his eyes closed.

Swiping her tongue over her lips, she hastily finished the meal. She staggered to her paws, and gently padded over to the Warrior's den. "Kestrelflame, may I speak with you?" She called out softly, no hint of violence present in her tone.

Kestrelflame nodded. “Sure. I'll be right back, Pineleap.” She replied and got onto her paws. She limped after her.

Flintfoot lifted one eye open and watched Kestrelflame walk out of the den.

"Over here," she beckoned with her tail to a shady spot, a bit far from the den. She sat down, and curled her tail around her paws. "I want to tell you something."

“Yes?” Kestrelflame mewed, sitting down.

She began, her voice low. "I want you to know that, if you feel like you made a wrong choice, I can back off. If you feel as if your paws want to take you to Flintfoot's side, I'll step away. He loves you, and I know that. If you still want him, I can leave. I don't want you to think now you can't redo everything. If you want, I'll take a side step, for you."
