Icefeather san through the forest vines and bushes blurring past her. She heard another yowl and headed toward the sound. She stopped and jumped onto the fox clawing it's back. She let out a yowl as the fox threw her off it's back.

FlowerStar whimpered as she heard screeches coming from the forest. She needed to go help. Summoning all her strength, She began to pad out of the den. She drew a shaky breath and picked up speed until she was bounding through the trees. "have... to keep.... going." She panted but kept going even though her body was screaming in protest. She skided to a halt as she heard a yowl and saw a glimpse of red pelt. A scent hit her nose. "fox." She growled. She was about to claw the fox but she froze. Would she be strong enough? She shook her head and clawed the fox's flank.

Nightfury followed her and saw the fox. He ran around the clearing to the tree that Windheart was in and he climbed into the branch above her head. He swung his tail down so it brushed her nose. "Grab on." He called quietly to her.

Windheart saw Flowerstar distracting the fox and let out a shrieking wail as it threw her aside. She ignored Nightfury's mew and crawled forward and bit its neck, mercilessly strangling it. The rage of seeing this thing wreck her leader made her nerves wash away the unsettling sense from the search and replace it with strength. Windheart yowled angrily and rushed over to Flowerstar, but froze. The scent...it was on Flowerstar, too.

Icefeather looked up to see Flowerstar. It was all a blur and everything happened so fast. As soon as she knew what happened and what was going on she rushed off and get herbs for Flowerstar, ignoring the pain on her flank.

Flower looked around. The fox was snarling over her. MOVE! She yelled to herself in her mind. MOVE! She said again. Her muscles were limp and a strong sickness scent flowed off her in thick waves. She could not move. She could hardly breath. A sharp pain covered her flank and she tried to yowl in pain. Her breathing grew more rapid. Im going to die! She yowled to herself. At the same moment. Everything turned black.
