"JESSICA!" I yelled over the wind.
There was a war cry from the elves as they swarmed Jessica.
They tossed chains over her wings and legs trying to pin her down.
I rushed over with my dagger and quickly murmured a spell that would snap the chains.

"Please, we have to go now!" I pleaded as I killed another elf.

(Might post a few more times.)

Jessica could only see red. She felt the pain growing inside her as she slowly phased into a dragon. She grabbed kakana and flew Iinto the sky but a chain got snagged around her hind leg. She was dragged down but that didnt stop her from trying to keep kakana safe. She still fought her way but was stabbed in the leg this time. Her wings flapped uncontrollably as she cried out. Her head turned and her fangs went right into an elf.

I plummeted toward and landed with a sharp pain.
I glanced at my ankle and knew immediately that it was either broken or twisted.

Before I could do anything else an elf chained Jessica's wings together.
With a signal they started to drag her back.
Gritting my teeth I shot an arrow at the commander elf.
The elf fell without knowing what had hit him.
I tried to shoot the others but the searing pain in my left leg stopped me.
The world spun around as I saw my own blood stain the frozen ground.

"This can't be happening." I gasped but before I could do anything else an elf walked over and everything went black.

(She'll wake up and go back to the castle for help or someone can come out to help her.)

Jessica shot fire at the elf near kakana, letting it burn in a black flame. She caused enough of a scene to keep their attention away from kakana. She phased back into a human and fought a lot. She wasnt going without a fight. Though once she was out of sight, she would have to hope kakana was okay and selfish thought about her cloak. It was a great cloak, not like normal ones, but she knew if kakana was smart, she would wear it.

(Just so Ya'll know...Im playing the the parade today for band, then some friends are coming over to swim and hang out so i wont be on much until after everyone leaves...Not that im involved with anything at the moment xD)

I watched as the elf near me burst into flames, an intoxicating smell came from the burning body.
I clutched the cloak Jessica had given me as the elves marched Jessica in.
All of a sudden the cold surrounded me, biting into my skin until I couldn't feel anything.

"Easton needs to know what happened to Jessica." I murmured.
I tried to connect to him but since I was injured and far away it didn't seem to work.
"Please..." I whimpered as I squeezed my eyes together in hope that it would work this time.
All of a sudden I felt a faint connection and quickly sent the image of Jessica and the elves to everyone I could connect to.

Jessica had felt a chain go around her her neck and she was thrown into a dungeon. She growled loudly as she fought against the chain but couldnt break it. She whined softly and looked around. At least it was big enough for her wings. Is kakana safe, she asked easton, hopefully he was already awake. She sat in the corner and felt the silence and darkness encasing her.

Jamie frowned. This was like a damn maze. No wonder castles felt like a prison, they did resemble them well. Cold, eerie, quiet, and everyone was tucked away.
He gave a grunt, shifting his shoulder, and reeling back. Glancing down, he gave a simple shrug of his shoulders. What was his name? Barney? Bayard? Yes.. that's what it was.. "I have plenty of things to say to you." He began, making no attempt to step forward or back, he'd listen to it. "I'm not that stupid. Being a male also, I know what it is. She likes you. It's obvious," He paused, occasionally moving his fingers. "..You've kissed her, haven't you?" It was a blatant statement, but it was obvious. Someone would have noticed- he knew his sister..

Bayard frowned, then gave a shrug, like 'no big deal'. "Yeah. So what? I never knew she had a brother--and even if I did, that wouldn't matter." He wasn't going to back down from this guy, even if he did seem far more intimidating than Bayard ever would. "You left her alone for three years when I was gone. That's enough to tell me you aren't the big brother you should be." He added, in a spiteful way. "The way she acted...well, it wasn't overjoyed, now was it?" It was out of character for Bayard to be like this, to be cruel and have no heed for his words. But he did it anyway--he didn't like Jamie.

Easton flinched, feeling Jessica connect to him.
Is Kakana safe?
What? Of course she was. She was in the castle--or was she? He got up and went over to his balcony, where he peered out into the snow. He had thought no one was awake yet, but he was wrong. Fresh trails littered the snow. Instantly he got up, threw on his black cloak, and threw open the door, almost falling on his face as he did so. He spotted Elyse and her tiny dragon, but just called out: "Gotta go!" and proceeded to rush down the stairs. He had a weird feeling that something terrible has happened.

I struggled to get up as my ankle throbbed. It was most certainly broken. I wrapped Jessica's cloak around me even tighter as the wind grew stronger. "I have to help Jessica." I told myself, forcing me to my feet. Tears sprang into my eyes threatening to fall. I bit my lower lip in an attempt not to cry out as my broken ankle sent a searing pain.
I grabbed a branch as a cane and stood up. I looked around and realized all the elves had gone inside with Jessica.
they think i can't harm them! I realized. Anger grew in me as I imagined twisting there filthy necks. I could do damage to them, major damage but....they were right, I was useless with my ankle broken. Guilt stabbed into me as I replayed the attack in my mind. I was so helpless! And now, because of me, Jessica was captured!
