Akyra's breathing is nice and even as she sleeps. At first, her dream was simply one of flying on Storm, racing against Warrick and Bayard again. Suddenly, that all changes. The dream starts to fade, leaving only herself surrounded by darkness. Her blue eyes widen, as she looks around madly for her dragon. Or anyone. "Storm?!" She calls out, dashing forward. Their was a light ahead. She wasnt sure what it was, but hopefully to her dragon. The light gets insanely intense, as she covers her eyes with hr arm as she runs. In an instant, the light is gone, and a scene is playing out before her. More like clips actually, showing bits and pieces and not the whole story. She sees a war of sorts raging, dragons, human, elves...their seemed to be no pattern to who was the enemy. The scene changes, showing Bayard with an arrow in his back, behind him, the string was still vibrating from the tension from the arrow being released. She wants to cry out but seems to be only an observer and nothing else. The final scene she sees, is of Storm. A dragon larger then she, has her neck clamped in his jaws. The light fades from her dragons eyes, and even though its only a dream, she still felt as though her heart was being torn in two.
Akyra's eyes shoot open, a short screem escaping past her mouth before her other hand clamps down over her mouth. Tears stream down her face at the images she has seen, and has no idea what they mean. This sort of thing has happened before. She would dream something, and it became reality. "Oh Gods no..." She manages to speak into her hands, trying to calm her racing heart and to slow her breathing.
Storm, having felt her riders distress, instantly shoots awake as well. Akyra!? Akyra whats wrong?! Her dragons voice pops into her head, which only makes her heart hurt even more. The thought of losing her beloved friend hurt more then anything. I...Its nothing Storm...I-Im fine, the elf finally manages to reply back, but her dragon didnt believe her. The nest thing she knows, her dragons silvery head was at the balcony, trying to squeeze into the too small space. In any normal circumstance she would have laughed, but now she was worried about waking the entire castle. She jumps to her feet, knocking over her chair in the process, as she darts to the balcony. "Knock that off Storm! I told you im fine..." She mutters, placing her hand on her struggling dragons nose. She wipes at her eyes to clear away the last of her tears, hoping she would always feel Storms life under her scales.
(Hope you dont mind me adding that bit with Bayard EMBER. It wont actually happen, i just needed another thing)
