Wispstar laughed some. "Here we can share, I hope you don't mind." Wispstar told Sparrowpaw before she leaned down to eat a bit of the dead mouse that was in front of her.Wispstar took a bite and swallowed. "Its good." She told Sparrowpaw.

Sparrowpaw nodded, taking a bite too. "It does taste good, this season's had good hunting.. I think. ",she meowed. It was her first year of life still, only having lived 10 moons (Which I think is 10 months) so she couldn't be sure but it seemed the right thing to say.

Wispstar took another bite of the mouse. "Yes, it has been. We have all been fed well." Wispstar told Sparrowpaw as she made sure everything was going alright in the camp. "What do you think of going on a patrol today?" Wispstar asked her as she flicked her tail.

Sparrowpaw smiled,"A patrol seems like fun, today is warm and a very ample opportunity for cats to sneak in. I bet we'll scare them all off! No cat hurts my clan." She purred, taking another bite and glancing around, seeing where the other apprentice had gone.

Foxpaw
Foxpaw, being as lazy as he could be known for in the morning, had gone back to the apprentice den. He enjoyed how shaded and relaxing it could be in there, not to forget a good place to go for quiet usually. He ate his mouse quietly, his green eyes gazing out of the den and into the sunshine.

"I know you will scare them off, you're pretty strong." Wispstar told the young she-cat. "Well, Tackfur and Poppyflower would be going with you. Feel free to invite Foxpaw along." Wispstar told Sparrowpaw as she finished eating the mouse..

Sparrowpaw meowed,"I'll go tell them in case they didn't hear." Then, she got up, bounding over to Foxpaw,"Wispstar said you can come on patrol with Poppyflower, Tackfur, and myself." Foxpaw gulped down the last of the mouse, standing and following her out of the den. Sparrowpaw led him right to Tackfur and Poppyflower," Wispstar said we should go on patrol, it's a good enough day."

Poppyflower smiled slightly. "Fine, and how are you?" The warrior glanced at the apprentices, who seemed to be itching to get somewhere. "They sure look excited. I wonder what's gotten into them.." Her words trailed off as she avoided the male's eyes. She wasn't the only one to get out of camp. The spotted cat began to make a quick job of neatening her fur. A particularly stubborn burr was placed right out of reach, and the she-cat struggled to get at it. Letting a frustrated sigh slip, she plonked her bottom down and stared at her paws, just in silence.

Tackfur laughed for a second before looking in Poppyflower's fur for the bur. "Here it is," Tackfur said as he pawed at it and then picked it out with his teeth. He saw Sparrowpaw and Foxpaw heading towards him. They told him that they were going on a patrol. "Alright, you need some practice with patrols, so lets go." Tackfur told them as he stood up and began to head towards the clan exit.
