Icewhisker gave a small sigh and started grooming the three kittens, making sure that they were all kept warm. After she had finsihed one, she passed it to Silverdawn, and soon all three kittens were suckling at their mother's belly.

"Alright, then, let's go!" The tabby purred, flicking the apprentice's ear affectionately with his tail. He started off at a slow plod towards the entrance before halting and glancing over his shoulder with a questioning expression painted on his face. "Well, Moonpaw, are you coming or not?" He queried, a hint of amusement hidden in his mew.



((Perhaps Owlstar could do the kits' ceremony first before taking Moonpaw out? Sorry about that LPS, I just thought the ceremony would be faster than Moonpaw's practise assessment. Swiftstreak and Sunset, perhaps you could let the kits run up to Owlstar and remind him? Just an idea. c: ))

Shiver tail stared into oak fangs eyes with sympathy,taking a deep breath she spoke quietly to him "Burrkit has been born differently than the others" she meowed, as a tear come from her cheek to her whiskers, she shook her head before continuing "He was born with a twisted paw and I'm not sure if he will ever become a warrior"

Burrkit whimpered softly as he felt around, his twisted paw preventing him from suckling properly. But, after several tries, he managed to get it. The warm liquid gushed out and he fell asleep, contented.
Icewhisker had noticed the paw as soon as she saw tiny Burrkit. "Sparkstep will pay for this," she growled, "Burrkit should have been perfectly normal." but as she continued to observe the kitten, she realised that he was taking advantage of his twisted paw, using it to wrap around things and hoist himself up. Is he... she thought, surprised at the strength in his tiny twisted paw. Maybe Burrkit will be normal after all...

Oakfang took a deep breath as he nodded, looking at the medicine den. "No..Burrkit..he'll be a warrior..I know it.." He spoke quietly, ears folded slightly.

Sunkit hesitated for a moment, then nodded, "Okay! Hey, Tumblepaw, can Dawnkit come too?" She asked, looking up at the tom.

Dawnkit had wandered into the forest, and overheard *coughcougheavesdropcough* the conversation and sighed. "Oakfang never talked about me that way. I'll never be loved, I'll never have a real family except Sunkit." She cried a bit to loud.

Icewhisker had heard the faint mumbling and made out the wailing as Dawnkit's. "Wait here," she whispered to Silverdawn, "Someone's been eavesdropping." Tracking throught the intertwining path of the trees, she found a little Dawnkit and sat down, raising an eyebrow at her.

Dawnkit sniffed, wiping away a tear, not bothering to come up with a lie. "Oakfang will never love me like he loves Silverdawn's kits. I'll be motherless and fatherless forever." Suddenly, Dawnkit perked up and meowed, "Hey, they're my half littermates! I want to see them!"
