She sped through the sky and went through all the clouds to make sure no other pegasus was hiding.

Princess Scyther flew in the sky, loving the cool breeze. Her hair moved in the cool breeze. She just loved flying, it made her feel free.

mintleaf looked up and then walked over to a window where he took off to fly

Scyther flew and landed on a cloud. She had to rest her wings, they got tired when she was flying for a while.

Midnight Wish woke up in her midnight blue bed. She flicked back her curly hair and stumbled out of bed. Her mother was in the throne room. She whistled and a maid trotted in. "Tell my mother, Queen Nightmare-"
"Princess Luna." The maid corrected in a quiet voice, rebuked by a glare from eyes like purple fire. "Tell her I am going for a walk to Death's Cliff, by the sea." Midnight Wish said. The maid quickly neatened the bed sheets and dashed out to obey orders.

The deep purple pony swished her head, and in a flurry of sparks that made her blue dapples grow, she used her horn to make a manebrush brush her hair breifly. She slipped on some golden hoof-covers and trotted speedily out. She sharply turned down a hall and trotted down deep, fluffy carpets till she came to the cold stone doors of the castle. She placed her horn in the lock, it turned and the doors opened. Midnight Wish galloped out and did a stunning leap into the air. Her wings spread, and for a second she felt like her mother. Strong. Brave. Noble. Her feathery swings spread out and she glided through the air and to Death's Cliff, a tall, jagged cliff watching over the ocean. It had earned it's name when the first death of the Night's army was when a brave colt fell off and into the sea.

Scyther yawned and stretched, she hadn't been able to sleep much that night. The princess was tossing and turning all night, thinking about the problems that divided the creatures of the night, and the creatures of the day. She knew she wouldn't be very much use to her kingdom the way she was now, but everyone deserves a break once in a while now don't they she thought.
