S K Y C L A NEclipsekit
Eclipsekit yawned and looked around the nursery den. His mother, Goldenleaf was snoring peacefully and the vines of the nursery quivered slightly in the wind. He heard voices, and smelled the sweet wafting scent of poultice floating in the air. He tiptoed out the den and thought,
Goldenleaf is sleeping, why don't I take a look in the woods? I've never seen the world outside before. He squinted at the entrance. Blueclaw wasn't guarding the entrance. Eclipsekit scrambled out the entrance and breathed in the scent of prey and the trees. Then, he saw a squirrel nibbling on a nut; it wasn't paying attention on Eclipsekit. Eclipsekit's eyes widened. His new sister, Silverkit, will be so jealous! He crouched and crept nearer. And he pounded. Eclipsekit grabbed the flailing squirrel and bit it. The warm blood of the animal instantly flowed through his small, pink jaws. He had never eaten prey before; he always drank his mother's milk. The squirrel blood tasted like heaven. He used his claws to hook up the squirrel and followed his own scent back to camp. He bounded through the entrance and stood besides the pile of fresh kill. Suddenly, a yowl came from the nursery. "Eclipsekit! Where is Eclipse-" Goldenleaf bursted out of the nursery and noticed him standing beside the squirrel. "What in the name of Starclan are you doing?! Why are you taking food from the fresh kill pile?" asked Goldenleaf angrily. "I caught it." replied Eclipsekit stubbornly. Goldenleaf's eyes widened, "You caught it?" she said finally. Eclipsekit nodded. Suddenly, Goldenleaf yelled, "YOU SHOULDEN'T HAVE SNEAKED OUT OF THE DEN! WHY DID-" "What's happening?" a voice said quietly. Goldenleaf turned. "Crytalstar!" she said, suprised.

Silverkit
Silverkit heard her mother's voice yelling. She didn't want to open her eyes yet she was still drowsy and sleepy...... Suddenly, she thought,
Maybe I should just wake up and take a look at the world. Then, she opened her eyes. A blaze of light met her eyes as she opened them. Silverkit squinted. She got on her legs and walked out of the den. The vines covering the nursery entrance were ticklish. Silverkit's legs trembled as she took her first steps.
