Mosely nodded. "I could notice the knives thing. Considering the battles we've faced." He finished up the apple and threw its core somewhere - maybe he would dig a hole as a trashcan later for the sake of his own hygienic tendencies, but right now he didn't feel much need to do so.

Celestia, Violin must have been psychic. Noteworthy glanced over his shoulder before turning back to the circle of stones. He would go back outside to find some wood, but he didn't want to witness what would surely be a gory sight. Violin was the one out there, practically guaranteeing he would vomit upon seeing her methods of slaughter. ... Oh yeah. Fire spells. He smirked to himself, and the ground encased by the stone caught fire.

Violin jumped at the stag's antlers, dragging them down to the ground in a hope to break its neck or at least make him angry enough to charge. The bait worked, and the deer charged at her badly, ending up with its antlers stuck in a tree. After that Violin swiftly dispatched it and dragged it back to the cave; it was a fairly clean kill as far as she was concerned.

"Well, I wonder if we're ever going to see anypony else," I say, cautiously looking at the trees. "Not that I want to, anyways," I say quickly.

((I don't think White Star'll be able to participate in the games; Nightmare would most likely keep her on her side/kill someone so powerful. Unless you either change her species, make her unable to use either flight or magic or otherwise make her less powerful.))

Noteworthy looked up as he heard hoofsteps, seeing Violin walking inside with a large deer. He noted that it seemed to be a much quicker death than expected - there was only a single stab marking he could see. "Well done," he commented. In about seven minutes, she had gotten a stag and easily dragged it back to the cave, and on the other hoof, in about twenty he had found a couple birds. Impressive.

Mosely nodded in agreement, flattening his now-messed mane on his head using his hooves. He didn't have a comb on him - why would there be one in the middle of a forest-themed arena? - so he would have to make do. Force of habit did make him care for his appearance. "Hopefully this place is large enough to have twenty-four ponies generally not seeing each other."

I smile and chuckle a tiny bit. "Yeah, I really don't want meet whoever is making these cannons go off," I say.

"Thanks," replied Violin, flattered, "it was nearby but its tracks were very well hidden."

"Agreed." Given all he had in way of weaponry was a single sharp rock and a pair of daggers (which he didn't really know how to use), Mosely doubted he would survive an attack from anything more powerful than a rabid rat. "Unless I can use words as a weapon, in which case I probably would easily kill half the ponies here," he joked. Whether petty insults or the kind of sayings Celestia used to... use... he was good with words.

Noteworthy smiled. "Great." He magically picked up one of the birds, holding it above the fire. He hadn't eaten in a while - even though he wasn't expecting three good meals a day in this place, he definitely needed food by now nonetheless. Okay... I probably should have learned more about cooking, he thought, realising that he hadn't learnt of how long to leave it there. Well, I guess I'll just wait until it looks done.
