The Pony Games (MLP/HG, Not Accepting Tributes)

Violin smiled. "Hi there," she said to Nightmare defiantly, standing her ground, even if she was completely terrified; sarcasm was pretty much her attempts to protect herself, or at least without her knives.

[Piefan]

Nightmare's ears pinned back in surprise. A simple pony tried to speak to her? Must be a trap, somehow... But she did not dare waver, nor show fear, lest the ponies get the idea that a simple "hello" was terrifying to her. Instead, she narrowed her eyes coldly. "Hello, I suppose," she said, her hesistance showing even as she tried to wrestle it.

"I hope you're feeling well today, apart from the fact that your brother just bust the arena and let a bunch of ponies out, meaning that you had to come here from pony-knows-where to try and sort us out?" Violin asked, feigning politeness.

[Piefan]

Nightmare Moon rolled her eyes in response, waving a hoof at the forcefield. "Name one other pony he let free," she replied coldly. "And let's be honest, there's a reason that Eclipse was never seen at all the events Luna and Celestia were. Here's a hint: Not entirely because he did not want to." Lying when unneeded wasn't her thing, and there were a fair few he chose not to attend because it was boring or whatever.

Violin smiled sweetly and raised her eyebrows. "Oh really?" She asked, "Are you sure that there isn't some small foal out there that needs torturing for your entertainment?"

[Piefan]

Nightmare bared the sharp teeth of a batpony and her wings flared. "Entertainment? You mean like the type I get watching twenty-four ponies think they could take down an alicorn with the magic of five?" she snarled.

[EclipticChaos]

Eclipse:
"Vi..." I warn softly.

Violin rolled her eyes, wondering how long it would take for Nightmare to blast her into oblivion.
"How exactly is that entertainment?" She asked innocently, "I'm pretty sure that showing off your wings isn't the answer."
But Eclipse, this is actually kind of fun...

Eclipse:
"And she is getting mad."

I kind of figured that, Violin replied mentally, and isn't this what you wanted in the first place?
