"Darnit...I forgot that they restrict your magic! Arh! You'd think if they have the power to force everypony to kill each other for sport they could keep stuff like this from happening. Who's idea was host this in a forest anyway?!?" Happy said, greatly irritated. "If this fire keeps up, we're going to eventually run out of forest! We can't run forever!" She looked behind her again anxiously. Ponies trying to kill her was one thing, she could handle that, but a forest fire? That she had no idea.

"We should find an opening, a treeless place. I know that there is a lake somewhere close to here. If we can reach there, we could at least protect ourselves nfrom the flames" Black Rose said, her voice had no sign of fear. She was cold and casual, even in a situation such dangerous as this. She knew the games were curel and wicked, but she had nothing to do against it. All that mattered was her own survival.

Noteworthy jumped off Soarin, carefully landing on the ground and looking up. It has to rain soon! he thought hopefully. He was no pegasus, so he wasn't sure what the results of the rainclouds he had made would be. All he had to do was hope that the fire didn't rise too high.

Facade

Facade's eyes fluttered open again. He could hear voices, and it felt like he was being carried. As his vision blurred into focus, he realised he was in fact correct, and that the unicorn and the pegasus had both helped him. His wings shifted and he gave a quiet whimper of pain, then looked to the two ponies. "T-thank you..." he muttered near silently, hope restored to him that he might just survive.

"So what, just dive in?" Happy's question was not of sarcasm, but concern for what they would do once they reached the water. "Since there is no gas, at least not to my knowledge, the fire shouldn't be able to come to the water, right?" Happy questioned the mare.

"Dont tire yourself. We'll get you into safety soon" Black Rose said looking down at the stallion who have been carried by the pegasus, her voice was coming out softer and calming than her usual emotionless voice.. She took a brief look at his injuries. Even as a cold hearted assassin, she was kind of wanting to help this pony. As long as it didn't involved getting herself in danger. Than she turned to the made, who mwas beeing sarcastic "That so pretty much the idea." She said with a cold voice. "Hope you are not afraid of getting you coat wet" She added with a grin while passing by the made and taking the lead once again.

"Not a problem in the least!" Happy said, returning the grin. "Even if were, it's much better than burning..." She shook her head, squinting her eyes just at the thought of burning to death.

"I suppose that is a better way to choose. All lot less painful..." Black Rose replied with her usual cold voice. Her leaf green eyes searching the horizons. The ashes that were flying around were getting even more, which was a sign of the fire drawing closer. "We better speed up. If we continue like this we'll get fryed before we could even reach the lake'' Black Rose said, raising her head. The strong scent of burnt trees were hitting her nose. She looked back at the pegasus, giving her a look that asked if she was tired carrying the stallion or not, willing to take him herself if she wanted..

"I can fly faster, but I don't want to leave you with the flames this near." Happy said seriously. "Is the lake just straight ahead? If so I can put him by the water and come back and get you." She stated, keeping her eyes forward as she spoke.

[Black Rose nodded"Yes it is. Just straight until you reach the lake. Don't worry about it. I can catch up, you take him to the lake." She spoked with a serious voice, her hood still hiding most of her. There wasn't even the smallest hint of worry. She knew if she could get the pegasus out of eye sight, she could use her wing to catch up. She would have to find a safe landing place that the Pegasus could not see.
