Pyra was out and about, she didn't know much of this island and it was always good to know your surroundings. She came to a clearing and leisurely walked to the middle as she sat down and crossed her legs. She placed the backs of her paws on her legs and closed her eyes as she started to meditate

Wartortle

The Kanto Pokémon was new to this strange Island, had been asked here by some trainer named Scarlet Crasher. She must have known all about how he didn't want to be caught by some dumb trainer and was actually reasonable. It made him happy that he could finally be free of that lab in peace on this odd island.
Looking around, he wondered where he should start on this place. Find a new pair of Black Glasses to replace his broken ones? Maybe... But maybe he didn't need them to hide his face anymore.
Either way, he had no idea what this island held or what he could do on it. Maybe he could find a Pokémon that had been here longer?
He spotted a Kalos Pokémon- Braixen, to be exact- sitting alone. Cool, maybe he could ask her. The two were both starters, anyways.
Walking over to her, he wondered why she was sitting so weirdly. Well, whatever.
Standing behind her, he gently poked her shoulder, not wanting to scare her or anything- that'd be kind of a sucky first impression. "Um, hey? Not sure if you're busy, but...I'm new here, and...do I really have to explain more?" He asked.

Pyra opened one eye and looked at the pokemon behind her. A wartortle huh? She remebered seeing their first evolution in Professor Sycamore's lab. " well, I could help you find a few places, but I'm fairly new as well. " she replied as she stood up swiftly and started in a direction towards the town on the island.

Watching her get up, the Wartortle raised an eyebrow. He guessed he would just have to follow her, then. The offer was nice, at least.
Going a bit faster, he walked beside her. "Well thanks for the small help at least," he said.

Pyra nodded as she walked into the center of the town. She pointed in one direction, " over that way is the hotel in which new trainers who are chosen to come here sleep. " she pointed in another direction, " over there is the pokemon center where it's self service, the machine is simple to use. " she pointed in another direction, " over there is the pokemart, everything there is free but they advise people to not be greedy over the items there. " she paused to make sure the turtle pokemon was getting all this as she pointed over to two buildings side by side, " and finally that is the theatre and the stadium, you probably know what those are already. " she finished as she turned to the other, " you got all that? " she asked raising a brow

Thorn
Thorn sat at the top of a mountain, one foot on a tall and sharp rock. He moved his hands and remaining leg in a smooth and fluent motion as he did Tai Chi. It relaxed his muscles and helped him calm down and hear everything around him. He let his thoughts go black and made sure to pick up every sound around him. The wind moving last him, the waves crashing on the shore, the trees quietly rustling in the breeze. He heard everything
