Raineyes padded across the camp cautiously, flicking away missed thorns and gathering up moss to clean up and make sure that the others wouldn't get stabbed in the paws. Moving a branch away from the elders den, she peeked inside, then perked up her ears, listening to a few noises from the back. She quietly stalked forward, scenting the air, but she couldn't tell what it was.

Meadowflower stood before the Moonwell. She could feel the presence of a cat come to join them. A starry, tawny she cat with black tips smiled and approached the cats, seemingly walking out of the well.

Palegaze's spirit smiled proudly at the apprentice.
"I, Palegaze, once medicine cat of BirdClan, have watched this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and always will she serve her Clan for many moons. Splashpaw, do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry, and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?"
Splashpaw: "I do." (Sorry, didn't think I should break it in have so you could say two words.)
Palestar went on. "Then with the powers of Starclan I give you your true name as a medicine cat. Splashpaw, from this moment you will be known as Splashleap. StarClan honors your loyalty and hard work, and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of Birdclan." With that, she smiled once more, turned, and walked to the pool. She vanished in the silver waves.

Meadowflower purred. "Go, Splashleap. Meet Starclan as the new medicine cat of Birdclan." she spoke calmly. She padded to the pool herself and touched her nose to the water, feeling herself lose conscious.

her eyes widened, a light feeling building up in her chest; her heart fluttering. she could feel starclan within her, and almost believed her paws were no longer touching the ground and that she was standing alongside her ancestors. the dreamscape vanished as meadowflower interjected, instructing her to touch her nose to the starlit pool. i'll be doing this every half-moon from now on, she thought. touched her nose to the frigid water, her reflection distilled by the rippling waves. suddenly, she could feel herself being lulled into a peaceful slumber as she slipped into darkness, awakening in a translucent forest.

Raineyes, unable to see due to a log broken in the middle, knew she shouldn't leave it. It obviously wasn't dangerous, seeing as it hadn't attacked her yet... And the scent of fox or badger was not present. Leaving it be for now, she left the den.

Many cats stood before Splashleap. A handsome grey tom stepped forward. He had a striking resemblance to Dovestar.
"Welcome to the path along the stars, as the life of a mdeicine cat. My name is Aspenflight. I died long before you were born. I, and all of us, walk the skies over the Birdclan."
A handsome ginger tom approached. This was Blazestrike, a former warrior of Birdclan.
"Birdclan must travel to different forests, this is true. Starclan will always be with Birdclan, no matter where they go."
Finally, a tan and brown cat approached. Palegaze.
"I'm proud of you, my apprentice." She purred. "You carry a powerful responsibility. You not only must carry the wounded, you must carry the word of the stars."

She was tired and decided to go to sleep. The next day would be very exhausting so she needed to get as much sleep as possible. She yawned and curled up in her nest and fell asleep soon.

"Scorchpaw, Dieselpaw, get me some food, right now, or I'll scratch your eyes out." Cinderpaw commanded her brothers with a cheeky grin.
