Cherrypaw purred and shook his head. "No more bad dreams."

Bluestar nodded. "I wonder what else they were preventing," he meowed darkly.

Twistedstar hissed at the very thought of StarClan. Shaking her head, she spoke, "No matter. Could you please go and see if Dragonsong is still awake? I want to talk with you two." She mewed, giving Bluestar a lick on the cheek.

Spottedmist smiled. "That's good. Do you want to get up, or lay with me for a little while longer?"

Dawnkit
Dawnkit was up already. She wanted to see Lostkit again, and since most cats didn't seem to be out of their nests yet she wanted to try to escape. She nudged Leafkit, trying to wake him up since he already knew everything and could probably find the way home too.

Pinefrost, Wolfsnarl and Foxbark sat alone the walls of the WildClan camp. Pinefrost looked at the two brothers, taking a deep breath of the fresh air. "Isn't it mighty convenient that the moment StarClan is gone newleaf comes to the forest? I think they were trying to punish us." The brothers nodded, looking at Dragonsong. "What'da think of that new she-cat and her kit?" Wolfsnarl wondered out loud. Pinefrost shrugged, but Foxbark mewed, "I don't trust 'em."

Bluestar nodded. He got down to the warrior's den and woke the legendry blue tabby. "Come, Twistedstar wants to speak with you," he meowed.

Dragonsong willingly followed the leader up to the den. "Twistedstar?"

Leafkit grunted. "Huh? What's up?"

Dawnkit
"Come on, if we're quick and quiet we can go exploring!" Dawnkit whispered, nudging Leafkit some more. "Get up quick before any of the queens wake up. Hardly anyone's around!"

Twistedstar smiled at Dragonsong. It was a curt smile, not very welcoming. "So, what were you and your sibling talking about out in the forest?" She asked.

Pinefrost's ears pricked as the nursery became alive with scuffling and little mewls. Nudging Wolfsnarl and Foxbark, he pointed to the den. "The kits are moving an awful lot." He mewed warily. Putting on a wolfish grin, Foxbark pooped up. "Im'a give 'em a good scare, 'tu put 'em in ther place!" Snickering, the red furred Shadow jumped down from the wall and slithered soundlessly to beside the den, waiting for the kits to come out and stumble into him.

Dragonsong nodded. "We were discussing Leafkit," she meowed, lying smoothly. "He's going to be an apprentice soon and... and well I wanted Shadowpatch to be his mentor." Dragonsong faked a sad looked. "Leafkit is nothing like me. He is tiny and weak and easily swayed. He shows none of the traits that my father's bloodline is famous for...." The sad expression was no longer faked. She was... disapointed in her only son. Dragonsong wished for no more kits, but if Leafkit didn't change then she would have more kits.

Leafkit huffed. "But its warm here," he mumbled.

[Duskshine]

Dawnkit
Dawnkit huffed. "Fine, I'll go without you." she whispered, poking him one last time before padding toward the den entrance. She wanted to try and get out because she was sure Lostkit wasn't managing without her.

Foxbark snarled, bringing a large paw down on the kit, smashing him it on the ground. "What are you doing, little one? Trying to leave camp, are we?"

Twistedstar laughed sincerely. "If you are so disappointing in your failure of a son, than we will have a good warrior train him. "I'm thinking Pinefrost? Or perhaps Milkfur? They should whip the scrap into shape!" She patted Dragonsong on the back with her tail. "I'll speak to them. Thank you for talking to us about it."
